ODI revenge is complete. Next stop, T20 revenge. And then, test revenge next year. I don't think we'll be able to whitewash them but as long as we win the series without letting them win a single test match it's essentially the same.
there is an additional 7 ODIs planned for that tour, so hopefully england can start working on erasing their miserable deficit in India then.

I think for test tour, England should come one month in advance. One week is not enough :--D:--D and what more they won 4 tosses out of 5. LOL..

I suggest England come one month in advance for Test matches.. one week in advance did not work.
2 weeks of preparation + 4 tosses won didn't help them, not sure what even 2 months would do...

Not a full consolation but 5-zip is still 5-zip Happy Deepavali to all and sundry What can I say, I feel good about tonight but at the same time am waiting for the full deal to be handed next year same time. A win against England lights me up no end. it is very much the same feeling I would have when we would beat the Pakis in the 80s and early 90s and since then the Pakis became my second best team. There wasn't any more "khunnas" against them. For a brief moment I hated the guts of the yellow brigade but never lost the admiration for them. With England it's different. I have never admired them even when they have beaten us. I am too human for that. What I can extend to the Aussies and Pakis I cannot to the English. I remember, the very first time when Test cricket became my main form of cricket was when we handed out a 3-zip tri-color-wash to the Yips in early 1993. Test cricket became a totally different game for me ever since Here's to a similar flogging of the Yips come next year :icflove: ps: for the uneducated, yip = woof of a Pomeranian :--D

Happy diwali bro. I too enjoy defeating England more than any other team in this world. 5-0 is really special especially against an England team which even had 4 or 5 Englishmen in this day and age of England borrowing/ enticing foreign talent. Cheers. :yay:

There also...they required rain.....seaming wickets.....& basically last year Duke ball (which swing more then this years one for some reason) to beat injured India. I am sure...next year...against SA..they will import Eden wicket there....& maybe some kind of specialy Duke ball that lose speed in the air...so that SA extra fast bowler is not that threatening
wow this is by far the stupidest thing ive ever heard in my life!:cantstop:
