Sooda Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Chanders ton in this match made me think of the annoying fraks who always did well against us in the last 15 or so years I have been following cricket. Heres a team, M Vaughan Jayasuriya Y Khan M Yousuf Chanders A Flower Steyn McGrath Donald Boje- Special mention for bowling Saf to victory in the 2nd test in India in 99, the absolute pits that year or so was. I was struggling for a spinner anyway, considered Saqlain Mark I for being so awesome when Pak toured in the late 90's.
ganeshran Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 In ODIs Anwar should be a part of the XI too
Yoda-esque Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Hayden Anwar Mark Waugh Aravinda D'silva Chanderpaul Andy Flower Chris Cairns Mcgrath Fanie D'Villiers mcDermott Dale Steyn [i would replace Fanie with Aaqib Javed in Sharjah with Pakistani Umpires officiating] I am also not considering the WI of the late 70s for obvious reasons

Sooda Posted November 8, 2011 Author Posted November 8, 2011 Hayden is a good call actually, might replace Jaya with him, Cairns too. Thought he would probaly feature more in an ODI XI anyway Aqib Javed  Yes, he has a 7-fer vs us and 2 or 3 ODI 5 -fers Just realised my team is a X :cantstop:

Zap_Brannigan Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Although it was just that 1 series, Jimmy padams was a pain. Noone has mentioned kallis yet.
ganeshran Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Chanders, Kallis and Vaughan all average in their 70s and have scored more than a 1000 runs against us :fear:
deathmonger Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Chanders, Kallis and Vaughan all average in their 70s and have scored more than a 1000 runs against us :fear: vaughn? my god, our bowling sucked. kallis and chanderpaul both average around 50 with around 10,000 runs but Vaughn?
