What kind of pitches are best for Test cricket?

    • Greentop with great lateral movement
    • Waist high bounce
    • Slow and Sluggish
    • Square turner
    • Flat pitch

Variety of pitches. Its good if you have Kotla and Galle wickets as long as pitches in Durban and Barbados are just as extreme on the other end. Bottomline is there should be a balance between bat and ball regardless of whether it supports seam, spin, reverse swing etc, etc... Kinda like asking what kind of cuisine is best for food isnt it?

That is why the poll is multiple choice. you can choose more than one type of pitch, even flat ones.

huh it dont make sense the total % = more than 100

A pitch that helps should be good. As stuge said a perfect pitch IMO should swing at start off everyday, seam all 5 days, should spin and seam vigorously on 4th & 5th day, bounce should be even.
