ShebbySB Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Some contenders:- 1)Irfan(has found his lethal swing now but need to be 5ks quicker), 2)Nehra(only plays ODIs,very poor fitness & selectors have lost their faith in him), 3)Sangwan(young & brisk around 135ks,can move the both ways plus handy bat), 4)Wagh(quite similar to Sangwan, has allround ability) 5)Suyal(young upcoming seamer from Delhi, has reputatation of being sharp) 6)Arvind(left handed version of Vinay Kumar) 7)Parameshswaram(Tall,well built & pace around 135-140kph) 8)RP Singh(Hell & heaven difference between what he was & what he is now:(() 9)Jaydev Unadkat(lean & raw, needs lot of work on his body & his bowling.) Any other bowler who can be a contender?
saneindian Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 RP Singh, all that he needs is to shed 4-5 kgs and get rid of the beer belly. If he is really interested in playing for India, it should not be too difficult. But seems to lack that desire.
Ra.one Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Irfan looks best of the proposed lot at present
Sooda Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 This Guy :--D LOL, should be on that list at least
chammakchallo Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 ishu my bwoyz!!!!!! ishant sharma is currently bowling around 140 k n is bowling a decent line n length....i rate him after zaheer
Ultimate_Game Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Forget about a left hand seamer, we don't even know who is good enough to take over from Zaheer at the moment :nervous:
ShebbySB Posted November 15, 2011 Author Posted November 15, 2011 LOL' date=' should be on that list at least[/quote'] Ok I'm adding him too.
Yoda-esque Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 ishant sharma is currently bowling around 140 k n is bowling a decent line n length....i rate him after zaheer Read the thread title
Dravid_TheWall Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Just on pure form, right now, it would be Nehra. Rest are too raw or crap now. (Irfan and RP)
maniac Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Amazing...there was a time when every other new promising bowler we had were left armers....Zaheer,Nehra,RP,Irfan all burst on the scene in sequential order but today hardly anyone who really stands out... Btw is Nehra the first left arm seamer to play for India???I vaguely remember him making his Test debut before Zaheer in Zim I think...
MCcricket Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 I would rather punt for Pawan Suyal Anwar Ahmed then those washed out dudes , RP, uMADKAT WAGH, SANGWAN,P PARMESWARAM HAVE SOME POTENTIAL BUT NEED TO ADD PACE
maniac Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Oops my bad forgot about Karsan Ghavri....One of the more forgotten players in Indian cricket but surprising to know that India had 8 left arm seamers before Nehra obviously don't think all of them were genuine seam bowlers though

Cricket Tragic Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Tough choice between U-mad-kat and Aravind.
