There will be a good wife who will convince her husband to do the right thing and not break out of prison. She will do puja for his early release. Then there will be the vamp who will get to know and try to sabotage the escape plan while sleeping with the jailor while she will act good in front of the others. Its not about expecting a docile character , it's just irritating, When you compare the other characters in the show Skyler doesn't have much intensity or bigger role to play.
