CG Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Dance India Dance li'l masters. some amazing dancing talent there.n the show is conducting in a happy way unlike other reality show.though my fav. contestant is out T9cHbNxMkvk There is no happy way,the trauma the kids are subjected through and pressure the parents put for such shows is well documented. This scripted shows need to be banned.
Crookbond Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 I feel so too. I find something behind such shows hidden from the public.

DomainK Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Just started watching Sherlock. The 9.1 rating on IMDB is well deserved. Everything in the show is brilliant.
vvvslaxman Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 I used to watch non stop in the 2000s so much so i became paranod. I quit watching. Recently i started watching again. What a brilliant program FORENSIC FILES. Tru TV is showing. Court TV used to show. But they merged with CNN. If you have not seen before this is a must watch program about real life cases that were solved using forensic sciense. Narrator Peter thomas gets A+ for this. I have seen 100s of episodes.
lovish Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Sarabhai vs Sarabhai (I actually purchased the DVD pack) :P Worth it. Is there a tv pack for it and I don't know :O :(
Crookbond Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Just started watching Sherlock. The 9.1 rating on IMDB is well deserved. Everything in the show is brilliant. It's a f***** brilliant adaptation of Sherlock to the modern scenario. Just to emphasize how much thought has gone into making this - The actual Sherlock Holmes (and the numerous earlier TV shows) use family names to call each other. You will notice it as Sherlock calls John Watson as "Watson" and John Watson calls Sherlock Homes as "Holmes" which was how people spoke to each other in the earlier world. In this series, it's Sherlock and John and hence, the name of the show. They are also not afraid to make Sherlock use modern facilities like the iPhone, labs, GPS etc. Benedict Cumberbatch portrays a picture perfect Sherlock. The final episode of Season 2 just left me wanting for more. Eagerly waiting for Season 3 and it will mostly be aired in January 2013.

It's only natural that SH is highly savvy with modern gadgets. The original SH was on top of science of his time. He was brilliant in chemistry and had was good in other aspects of science. SH of today, given the role technology plays in today's world, would be not just savvy, but would be way ahead of a normal man. I also like how they have been careful about the characteristics of the original SH. Small details have been taken care of in impressive ways. I also like how, unlike most other screen adaptations, they have not shown Watson to be an absolute idiot. Conan Dolyle's John Watson was an intelligent man, a very good doctor, a brave soldier and he had some extraordinary characteristics. The show has been made after great research and people involved are true SH fans. It just could not have been any better.
DomainK Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Has anyone seen "The Confession" featuring Kiefer Sutherland of 24 fame? How is it?

Also, for the highlighted part wait until Season 2 ends and you will miniature details which fill the complete drawing board to make SH - look, talk and walk the way we know BUT in the current scenario. Just love the research done.
