ganeshran Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Ponting has another two years of cricket left in him. Point is whether selectors want to persist with him till he returns to form
Number Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Would've called him selfish if he was performing like this and Aussies had a very good replacement waiting in his place.
Cric_is_Life Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 biggest match winner is struggling to survive in a weaker team? :punter:
carnish Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 I guess ponting needs some time off the games... he is terribly out of form and still playing continously thereby not giving himself anytime to get back to form by hitting the nets long enough... he needs to sit out for a series and then play some domestic games and this he needs to do by asking for rest against the kiwis... and once he gets back in form he can come back to the side and can hammer indians but the problem is he is afraid that in his absense someone else will take his place in the side and therefore he doesnot want to miss any chances of playing
Cricket Tragic Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Don't know why everyone is laughing at Warner, I think he will prove a lot of people wrong. Also, I have no problem with players wanting to stay. He has worked hard his entire career to play for Australia, who are we to tell him he should quit? It's the Australian selectors faults for being gutless. Exactly.
f.b.m Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Not exactly related but he's trying to save his spot by bowling now
Sachinism Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 oookay. I knew there was something wrong with you guys. Don't even have a sense of humour?
Sachin=GOD Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 I knew there was something wrong with you guys. Don't even have a sense of humour? :headshake: he doesn't even have sense and you're talking of sense of humor!!!
pensionplan Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 I knew there was something wrong with you guys. Don't even have a sense of humour?oh really. ookay.
panther Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 average of 38 and 36 is pretty good in this current aus team
jairamesh Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 He needs to retire from ODIs at least, or has he?
jairamesh Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Callum Ferguson has a good FC if you see them he has batted in Aus. He is always considered a prospect for tests rather than ODIs or T20s. I haven't seen Callum Ferguson play any FC games, and his record is nothing to talk about. Though what I have seen him in ODIs and to some extent T20s, he does have the solid technique and temperament to succeed much like Shaun Marsh, who forced his way by his limited overs performances.
Laaloo Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 no doubt not only he is selfish but also racist. The only one racist here is you
punjabi_khota Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Exactly . Most selfish batsman ever ' date=' knows there is no chance of him getting back to form as [b']it was heavily dependent on 10 other members of his side , he never had in himself to score big runs playing for a weak team . Actually Australians too want to see the back of Ponting but the only lot who want Ponting to carry on are Pak fans who still dream of Ponting breaking all the records owned by GOD . wtf
King Tendulkar Posted November 19, 2011 Author Posted November 19, 2011 :headshake: he doesn't even have sense and you're talking of sense of humor!!! :hysterical:
carnish Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 oh really. ookay. are you trying to increase your post count... seems a nice idea..lol:winky:
