JeffThommo_fan
Aaron got outside and inside edges of Samuels. He beated him outside and inside the bat both. But when occasion came to get him out, the catch was dropped by Dhoni Link to comment

JeffThommo_fan
well thats dhoni for you not really a fast bowlers captain i was surprised that he gave aaron another spell(the one in which he got 3 wickets and 1 drop) he needs to understand quick bowlers better.. the way he handeled yadav in 2nd match was frustrating to say the least guy is in middle of a great spell and u change him and deprive him from some well deserved wickets i just hope zaheer gets fit and helps umesh yadav specially cos his art is same ,swing, reverse swing, yorkers(when zaheer first came) and just like zaheer he knows how to get batsman out which is rare talent (see ishtant :(() Another neutral person who believes that Dhoni is not a good fast bowlers captain. Or we can say Dhoni deals spinners much better as compared to fast bowlers. Fast bowlers are always Dhoni's last choice, e.g. to break a partnership, he will first go to spinners, then to trundlers like PK or VK and then to faster bowlers like Ishant, Umesh or Varun Link to comment

King Tendulkar
Some here are really fickle. During the first some were whinging Yadav should be dropped since he isnt ready and pointing out how Edwards is bowling. Now some are doing the same thing to aaron and comparing him with Ishant and saying he isnt ready for test cricket. And already want him to be dropped. Aaron is playing his first test for FFS and that on a road. There is no reason he should go back to domestic cricket. He will learn a lot better bowling test cricket and working with the likes of Zaheer and Eric simmons rather than bowling in Ranji trophy. King Tendulkar
If' date= for example, Vinay Kumar had played and removed the lower order, would you be classing such wickets as negligable against the massive success of a pretty average top order? I think you would! Thats were your above post falls down. If If If Link to comment
cowboysfan
I am pleased with his performance,he could be a useful 3rd pacer in australia. Link to comment
Malcolm Merlyn
No Yadav was slower than Ishant and both Yadav and Aaron were hitting similar speeds. Yadav was quicker than Ishant at Kotla. So dont talk rot. Regarding Aaron well bowling for 2 days....he ought to have slowed a bit. Link to comment

JeffThommo_fan
I don't understand why people here are saying that Aaron has got some cheap wickets, which is absolutely wrong... Varun has taken his first wicket of a set batsman who was looking good for double century. Then he has taken the wicket of opposition captain who plays as an all-rounder and can be very destructive on his given day. Then the third wicket was of the wicket-keeper-batsman, who has replaced Dinesh Ramdin just bcoz of his better performances. None of them was a tailender. These are infact his most earned wickets for which he has toiled so hard. Even Ian Bishop said in commentary that he has toiled very hard for his wickets Link to comment
BeautifulGame
Haha. Are you saying that West Indian tail are better than the Indian domestic batsmen he routinely gets out? So Darron Bravo Marlon Samuels and Carlton Baugh are tail enders now? Link to comment
