rkt.india Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 hey, i would have been happy had he scored it if he didnt, its no big deal for you cult of tendulkar people, this is the end of the world and cricket will cease to exist from hereon (until god makes his 100th hundred). that is ridiculous some will stop following cricket when he retires.:cantstop:
CSK Fan Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Stop the BS. The record obsession amongst his fanatics is too obvious which is what makes his so called detractors even get into any SRT related arguments. i persoanlly do not care if he ever gets 100 100s. Even if he retires on 99, its still something no one will get As for obsession with records, check on the match thread, who was bagging a player, who made the highest score, just because he did not get the record. Was it his fans? And dont talk about so called 'detractors'. This site has enough threads from 2007 to see who they are and the amount of vitriol they have for an Indian player. What takes my goat is that while the 'neutrals' pretend to keep the team interests over players all the time, they are the first one to talk about getting nervous before a record, not making a record, never getting a record, getting the record out of the way. And they talk about this way more than the match situation
Ultimate_Game Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 According to Kambli sachin school mein bhi 90s mein out hota thaa Kambli still trying to milk whatever publicity he can :haha:
Lord Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 According to Kambli sachin school mein bhi 90s mein out hota thaa was that also the reason his career finished?
Ultimate_Game Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 was that also the reason his career finished? Yes, coz was SRT was jealous of Kambli's century conversion rate and wanted him out of the team :haha:

pensionplan Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 I am not too much into this stats business. Forget about his 99 hundreds. Here is what is amazing to me. The 28 times to get into 90's in itself is something. If anyone followed Golf with any kind of an interest Tiger Woods once said he is more amazed with Jack Nicklaus's 19 second place finishes in majors than his 18 major championship wins while discussing about his possibility of breaking Jack's record for major wins. This 28 dismissals of Tendulkar in the 90's to me reminds me of that which is really mind boggling. That in itself is an accomplishment to me to get to 90 so many times keeping his dismissals in the 90's aside for a second.
Sidhoni Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 this is RIDICULOUS. the CULT of tendulkar is acting like india just lost the world cup final of world cup finals, what the hell. pin drop silence, cheering against indian players, chanting for the follow on, complete and total shock. i can imagine people in the crowd saying, 'bch0d, ticket khareeda uska 100 dekhne ke liye, saala out ho gaya ab kaunse do lallu panju batsman ko dekhna padega....' seriously, this is such a pathetic overreaction. disgusting U r spot on!! :two_thumbs_up:
Sidhoni Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 It would have been like a fairytale for Sachin to get his 100 in his hometown. And getting out in the 90's is also a great misfortune, he should play the ODi's

kabira Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 More than the record. I wanted him to get that money off his back. I am sure he wanted to as well, thats why he was very eager and playing those shots. No matter what he says, it bothers you, it plays on your mind. He is human after all.
MCcricket Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Sachin will be a g8 batsmen regardless, it is a shame that the whole series is held ransom towards a player getting a hundred, he will get 100 sooner or later, it is not like a 100 meter sprint where u loose if u do not win first place. I was feeling he will get it today atleast we got a glimpse of how amazing he can play if he plays freely, I hope somehow he scores a 100 before OZ, I am tired of this 100 100 business, taking the focus away from a test series. I hate the illiterates who call him god , how stupid, yes he is the best batsmen probably in the game looking at everything, but if he was god, he wouldn't have been out at all, lol, it is like saying Tendulkar is my father lol. Stupid fans like these make all Indian cricket fans look stupid, JINGOISTIC AND CRAZY.
Trichromatic Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 WI will collapse and India will win this match. B-> SRT will have another chance to make it bigger. 4th inning, high pressure, low temperature, crowd expectation and match winning 100th 100 :P :cantstop:
Raghav_12 Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 some will stop following cricket when he retires.:cantstop: Dude, it will not be sudden stop. You are taking words too much on it's face value. People will not stop following cricket but there might be some loss of interest. For me, I follow indian cricket all the time whether Sachin is playing the match or not. But if Sachin is there, i'll ensure that I finish all of my imp or not so imp work when Sachin comes to bat. I have left office early many times just to watch Sachin's innings. It is a naive to say that stars don't have any value ahead of overall game. Stars are the ones who bring audience to sports. They are the human face of sports. Do you think that Cricket would have been as popular in India as it is if there were no Gavaskar, Kapil ? Do you think that there would have been equal interest in Chess if Anand wasn't there? It is also true that people are losing interest in women tennis because there are no stars wround. It has always been observed that in presence of stars game gains more popularity. Stars need sport as much as sport needs stars.
Cricket Tragic Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Looked in excellent touch which is important. Not a bad delivery to get as well. Credit to Rampaul. :nice:
