we are talking abt providing the perfect Indian experience to guests like the eng team so they can proudly say 'we went to Ind' .... we will probably win 1-0 even if the tracks are flatish
Aah.. you mean 'Delhi Belly' :winky: I am sure a helping or two of prawn curry will go a long way in doing so :--D

If pitches turn from Day 1, they will completely crumble by Day 3. There has to be some grass to hold together the pitch for the initial 1-2 days. My ideal pitch would be one which starts turning from Day 3.

Curators could experiment with leaving some moisture in the pitch - would help the ball grip on the first day and as long as there is no grass would still crack up for the fourth and fifth days. However, it's not an easy balance to come up with. Even slightly more moisture will make it very tough for the batsmen and we might see a few 100-150 kind of scores with the way the average batting techniques are in this era of T20s.

What rubbish is he talking about? Cricket has become a joke because of over reliance on pitches rather than skills..If pitch starts turning from day one, match will be over in 3 days, whats the point in having 5 days..Dhoni should stfu.. I strongly feel pitch preparation should be taken away from home boards and given to neutral curators so that at least we dont see home boards abusing the game of cricket by preparing the pitch that suits them..

Bhai what skills you would see on flat tracks. At least turning tracks, let players show their skills. We cannot have seaming and bouncy pitches in India. Whenever some curator tries to make a seaming pitch, it turns out to be a batting paradise after first 2 hours. Result on turning tracks in 3-4 are better than no result in over 5 days.

but moisture without can lead to no bounce or tennis ball bounce.
