And which match was played a higher skill level: 1. Bombay versus Australia circa 1998. 2. The matches where Tendulkar scored dozens of ODI and test hundreds against the likes of Bangladesh, Kenya, Zimbabwe, and Netherlands?

He doesn't. But there is no slogging as you tried to imply.
Tendulkar has never slogged in an ODI? Or rather has he slogged more or less than in a test? Well, Tendulkar or anyone plays differently in tests, ODIs, or T20s - that's just common sense. The manner in which Tendulkar or anyone would approach a FC innings would have more similarity to the approach taken in tests than ODIs. That is the underlying point here. And that is the reason why a good FC record is one of the ingredients to look for while selecting test players. And I said, one of the ingredients - doesn't mean all successful FC players will be successful in tests.
Same reason as why you chose Gooch instead of the numerous 100s at Colombo or ARG. The point is very very simple between FC and ODI's its a no brainer as to which format produces the most competitive cricket and at a higher level by and large. Yes we can all come up with exceptions but don't try to tell me that All FC > ODI.
I am not - you are trying to say all ODIs are greater than FC when you are including all of them in 100 "international" hundreds, something which was unheard of before. Do you even remember the moment when Gavaskar got 10,000 international runs? I bet no one does. Ditto for Warne, Murali etc.

Think it's pretty safe to say that the following categories of Tendulkar's FC hundreds are better than ODI ones(an even some test ones) scored against the weaker teams: 1. Hundreds in Duleep trophy 2. Hundreds in Irani trophy 3. Hundreds against touring test sides 4. Hundreds in Ranji finals and semi finals 5. Hundreds against local sides on tough tours like South Africa, Australia, England etc. These might be a good 15 or so by my guess. Why aren't these being included before this "international hundred" category has been invented?

:hmmm: Since when did Ranji trophy become a really high level of cricket? Didn't know we Indians that wonderful a pool of players playing highly competitive cricket

Oh Ok, so Tendulkar would be easily averaging 100 in Ranjis :yay:

No sh!t ehh ... so where does the 175, 163, 200*, 143 and 134 at Sharjah rank in your list ... :nervous: What about the 54, 98 and 85 vs Pakis in WC .... they might be equivalent to runs scored in the Ranji trophy nets sessions. :hysterical:
Did you read the "against weaker teams" part?

Ranji finals and semi finals are generally of a higher level than the likes of Namibia, Netherlands, recent Zimbabwe, even Bangladesh for the most part.

I guess, in his book they are different formats, much like many would say IPL is a 'different format' than an international T20 and Ranjis a different format than tests :P PS to elaborate: * Ranjis = domestic; tests = international ----> 'different' * T20s = 20 overs; tests = 2 innings ----> 'different' Therefore, per ICF fanboys' logic, 'different' = 'different' and thus can be compared :dontknow:
The logics you come up with are hilarious... :hysterical::hysterical:

People have no idea that Boss has already completed his 100th 100..come on how can you leave his IPL century just like that..Skills required to hit an IPL century is far bigger than that of a test match , that too just in 20 overs, rightfully this should be considered :winky:

Not really ... wasnt needed the way you were supporting the idiot MK. FFS stop this idiotry .... it is ***king gay :hitler:
Instead of hiding behind abusing homosexuals and putting up Hitler smilies, why don't you just admit that you got the entire context of Mukul's article wrong, posted some irrelevant stat and are now making one dumb statement after another in order to justify your original stupidity of posting centuries to match ratio in an irrelevant context?
