By this way we can rest Umesh & Varun before the all important AGNEEPATH series. All of them are better than Mithun. So atleast 2 of the above 3 should be in the team. Dinda is performing brilliantly in the domestic circuit. He can generate fair amount of pace & movement. He has developed a slow legcutter nowadays plus he's a good fielder. He gives his all for the team. With pace around 137-145ks & change of pace he can be a good ODI bowler. Nechim can bowl as quick as Umesh or Varun, can move the ball both ways & has a good deceptive slower one.He has all the attributes to be a potent ODI bowler. Irfan has regained his form.He was never a quick bowler & never will be. But with his banana outswingers upfront & offcutters in the death overs he can be a handy. He can do a similar job like Bracken used to do for Australia.Plus his inclusion will boast our batting depth.

Good idea. Fly Yadav and Aaron to Australia with the first batch of guys (Sachin, VVS etc) and let them get used to the conditions and provide net practice to the batsmen who are going early.

The pool of good POTENTIAL bowlers we have , Shami Ahmed,Anwar Ahmed, Rahul Shukla, Manpreet Gony, Pathan in form, Tyagi,VRV, Kamran Khan, Nechim Ahmed, these guys should be selected as a group and nurtured, for the big league, they all have pace or skills or novelty factor to be successful, recuperating bowlers like Tyagi, Pathan, VRV, SHUKLA SHOULD BE GIVEN CONFIDENCE AND MONITORED.BCCI needs to learn from Poms and Aussies , just read the other day how Ryan Harris was nurtured by the Aussie board, also how Cummins is being managed. Nechim , Gony, wildcard Anwar Ahmed ,can be given a chance in ODI'S against W I

100 % agree with this. Also Uday Kaul or Karthick should be tried as wk in ODIs instead of Parthiv
pappu patel was given quiet a few chances.........pls move on.....give uday kaul a chance.....karthik has not done anything from last 2 seasons in ranji to be given a chance

Wish selectors are as innovative thinkers as you are.......but it would be fabulous to do that

agree with dinda, kaul and irfan but nechim has not really done anything substatial to merit an indian cap... he needs some good performances along with his pace

Very true, definitely needs to be looked at as a ODI prospect to begin with, RKT have u seen Gony this season , I am quite impressed , you seem to never talk about him.

yeah abu has performed well this season(thoughh i didnt knew that) but dinda has been performing consistently for some years now and uday kaul too has like 3-4 good years behind him... so i guess its better to try them first...

Tendulkar likely to play the last two ODIs Tendulkar, who failed to reach the milestone despite coming close at least twice during the Test series, might be selected for the last two matches of the ongoing ODI series when national selectors meet on Monday. India leads the five-match rubber 2-0 with the third ODI scheduled here on Monday. Tendulkar had been rested from the squad for the first three matches but sources say the 38-year-old wants to play the remaining two matches of the series scheduled on December 8 and 11 in Indore and Chennai respectively. http://www.cricbuzz.com/cricket-news/47152/tendulkar-likely-to-play-the-last-two-odis
