Innings : 20 Overs : 163.3 Runs : 879 Wickets : 32 Averages : 27.46 Economy: 5.37 Strike Rate : 30.6 That's pretty good but I don't know why some people hate him so much on this forum:facepalm:

him, pk ,nehra have been good. nothing great but decent. our seamers in 2000s were pretty ok without ever being great putting in occasional great performances but as we enter the new decade we have to get some great pacemen to rise further so sadly i believe his time is up.

Dislike is there for every trundler. Also his attitude and lack of commitment on the field pisses people off. But he has done pretty well this year in bowling.

Imagine if he had played the 5 ODIs vs Eng and then the 5 in the ongoing series. Could have ended with 45-50 ODI wickets which would have seen him being among the top 3 ODI bowlers right now , not to be :(( Musaji's loss is Ajmal's and Hafeez's gain.

He's done very well for us in ODIs since his recall in the tri-series in Lanka last year...did his bit in the World Cup and that's the pinnacle of ODI cricket. Disappointment with him is how his Test career has turned out. I still remember how excited I was with his pace and reverse swing on debut against England at Mohali all those years ago.

True. If only RPS, Sree and Munaf had fulfilled the early promise they showed in tests in 2005-06, who knows how our away record of recent times would have looked like.

He's been out cuz he was injured, I think he'll be a def pick in the tri series. Bowled really well on bouncy pitches of SA, made us win by 1 run in one of those matches.

Munaf was our best seamer after zaheer in this years WC.... don't know what happened after that... i mean the england series was a shock for all players so that should not be the base for selection and even i guess sreesanth should get a chance when he is fit in the test side but he should never come near our odi side

Omg this guy has a T20 and ODI WORLD CUP WINNERS medal and you don't want him? I have no doubt Sree will be back in ODI and test team. He is an aggressive wicket taker. Very rare. PS I am not diverting thread mods, outsider said I can respond to things about Sree if someone mentions it before me.

yes' date=' him and PK have been better than others - in 2011.[/quote'] Agree completely. Somehow Munaf seems to invite hate from many members probably because of the enormous potential he displayed earlier and subsequent disappointment. He is still a good one-day bowler.

his figures are good bcos of his performance on bowler friendly tracks in south africa but yes he is better than others who played he is hated bcos he cant turn the match if opposition is going hard u dont expect him to get wickets or change the face of whole match and then his fielding he looks lazy.. he can easily bowl quicker but does not and his bowling in subcontinent is very easy to play u can milk him all day
