I really liked the kid playing cricket, the monkey and the dog, and the bicycle balancing one. On the one hand, these beautiful pictures conjure up a mystique, but on the other, the underlying reality of people struggling for subsistence is truly sobering.

I took the following picture when I was vacationing in Bangkok, Thailand some time back, rusty, dilapidated shanty towns in the fore ground with million dollar skyscrapers in the background.

Those little shacks house an average of 5 - 7 people, given their shaky foundations, they could collapse any time and possibly drown the inhabitants.
