deathmonger Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 that was a sqaure turner and bowling on those pitches pakis have best spin attack ever but viru's record doesn't count as it is flat pitch?
G_B_ Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Pakistan's strength is not its batting. Of course their players wont be able to score that much. They are a bowling heavy side and more adept at defending low scores than putting big totals on the board. i am sure you will be labelled a paki for mentioning that by some of our good posters. :haha:

panther Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 the current line up will struggle to chase anything over 250
panther Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 and bowling on those pitches pakis have best spin attack ever but viru's record doesn't count as it is flat pitch? the banglas prepared it so you can't blame pak
deathmonger Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 the banglas prepared it so you can't blame pak teams really don't have links with curators. don't know about bang but at least in india. if it were so it would all be turning tracks. we didn't lose a single home or test series in the 90s when such tracks were dished out and that team wasn't half as good as this one.

deathmonger Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 turning tracks or flat tracks turning tracks in 90s so we could win a lot. then curators and indian team were hand in hand. flat tracks now for more trps and test match lasting five days. also green tracks if curator hates captain.
Ultimate_Game Posted December 8, 2011 Author Posted December 8, 2011 turning tracks in 90s so we could win a lot. then curators and indian team were hand in hand. flat tracks now for more trps and test match lasting five days. also green tracks if curator hates captain. Yup, that Nagpur loss where we handed Aussies the series still rankles. Thanks to Sharad Pawar for that loss.
deathmonger Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Yup' date=' that Nagpur loss where we handed Aussies the series still rankles. Thanks to Sharad Pawar for that loss.[/quote'] final frontier. :(( what hurts more is rain on chennai final day.
Ultimate_Game Posted December 8, 2011 Author Posted December 8, 2011 final frontier. :(( Yup, else Aussies would still be waiting for their first series win in India since 1960s.

deathmonger Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 than you had kumble now you have rookie spinners so flat tracks make more sense ashwin and ojha are pretty good. ashwin and jaddu destroyed eng in odis here when we had turning tracks.
panther Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 ashwin and ojha are pretty good. ashwin and jaddu destroyed eng in odis here when we had turning tracks. yh ashwin looks good
Ultimate_Game Posted December 8, 2011 Author Posted December 8, 2011 final frontier. :(( what hurts more is rain on chennai final day. That happens and it was bad luck. But what Pawar & co. did was a lot worse. Pissed at Dalmiya for losing BCCI elections, he ensured that a green track was prepared so that India would lose and Dalmiya & Ganguly (who was close to Dalmiya) would come under more pressure.
deathmonger Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 yh ashwin looks good also our batsmen play spin well so even if the spinner is good we don't have to worry. warne, murali, swann, vettori all avg 35+ in india.

Ultimate_Game Posted December 8, 2011 Author Posted December 8, 2011 hope we win there this time. We won't get a better opportunity than this time. Hope Zaheer remains fit else we will have Mithun replacing him :nervous:
Old guy Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 We won't get a better opportunity than this time. Hope Zaheer remains fit else we will have Mithun replacing him :nervous: in tests and fletcher as coach only aaron will replace him unless some other bowler is sent there as a replacement and i can just tell those conditions would suit him so much!
