Old guy Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 G3's processors doesn't seems as fast as M8's and M8's outdoor visibility is better. Sound output is better in M8 They have exact same processor with LG being higher grade one which is faster... And bigger screen and sharper one make it non issue and sound through headphone is same while speaker wise LG is louder but m8 had better quality

For M8 it's the camera and battery. One of my friend's 1x started troubling with it's touch screen. At first the bottom navigation panel stopped responding, then it gradually spread to the lower half of the mobile. Now only his top half of the touch is working. It seems some other htc mobiles are also getting this problem. Also, HTC can't be trusted with the updates, they could stop the updates like they did for 1x.
StriKe Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 LG G3 Battery review from various source http://www.reddit.com/r/LGG3/comments/28fyht/battery_life_review_comparisons/

BlueBee Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Only negative of G3 is it's battery. . Fully Disagree fella. The Battery to me is awesome. And the link given by Strike proves that
Detonator Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Fully Disagree fella. The Battery to me is awesome. And the link given by Strike proves that according to a guy who bought it, it lasted 7 hrs. He said, the battery quickly drained from 100% to 95% within 5 mins. It's not on par with g pro or note 3 or z2.

Yes use Korean model on American lte to check battery...these sites are dumb and any site worth trusting would have cleared this at start
Old guy Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Yes the processor is same but the G3's processor doesn't seem to be very fast when multiple apps are open. Wtf is does not seem? It's faster even ram is faster so multi tasking is faster too Not to mention 3 gb ram vs 2 gb..
BlueBee Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Wtf is does not seem? It's faster even ram is faster so multi tasking is faster too Not to mention 3 gb ram vs 2 gb.. Dafuq? I'm saying that it doesn't seems as fast as it is on paper
Old guy Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Dafuq? I'm saying that it doesn't seems as fast as it is on paper But it is faster than m8 and there is no lag? How do you measure speed?
BlueBee Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 But it is faster than m8 and there is no lag? How do you measure speed? No definite way. :((

The benchmarks released so far are given with respect to 1080p. Comparing a 1440p display vs S5/Z2's 1080p, the speed tests tend give slower returns to G3. The true compariton begins once all the manufacturers release 1440p res devices. Another thing I noted in G pro 2. there is some kind of airlock between display and the front glass to give higher touch response like iphone. If the phone is dropped, there is higher chance of display getting broken easily. iphone gets away with it's smaller size and aluminium, but these gpros and g3s have huge display so LG phones shld be handled with care.
velu Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 apple already has more than 50 patents related to 3D display and interaction with it.. they just wait for the right moment to implement use those awesome patents.. my observation abt american companies is that if others are not copying and making exactly the same thing , they dont bother abt the copier :giggle: http://www.patentlyapple.com/patently-apple/2014/04/mind-boggling-apple-patent-reveals-futuristic-3d-display-allowing-users-to-interact-with-images-in-mid-air.html

Benchmarks are of 2 types on screen and off screen Yes there are more pixels but performance will be same and there should be no difference ..atleast not enough to say that htc one is quicker than g3 Btw touch screen response wise even htc one is ahead of everyone iphone is not really leading there since last year

HTC not only has best response time it also has clean and smooth UI on top of android UI

velu Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 My sister finds my phone smoother than her iphone 5 Both are last gen but kind of proves that android has caught up raw processing power also have an impact.. but still task completion time ll be better in iPhones googled abt it .. LG G3 has 50ms dealy.. another term i came across today is screen ghosting time :giggle:
BlueBee Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Then do not spread lies Not spreading lies bubs! I'm just stating my opinion. I've used my friend's M8 and it's just the best and that's it. It's just my personal opinion. :beee:
