Old guy Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 My laptop has 2 GB and still works very well. yes..no android app will be designed to use so much ram maybe it will be hybrid tablet :woot:
velu Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 5 gb is overkill my laptop has 4 gb and unless you do heavy editing you are normally ok:cantstop: might not be 5 .. even my office desktop has got only 4GB 5GB is such an odd number :hmmm:
Laaloo Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Dude access is same on all platforms but android just shows you permissions while others do not . There are always some bad apps but they get killed quickly now a days and if blackberry uses android apps it means it allows them same permissions .. no it's not. Anroid apps goes overboard. Even for little apps, they want most of the permissions. At least for blackberry, I can choose and decline what I want to. I can't even do that for android apps.
Sachin=GOD Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 yes..no android app will be designed to use so much ram maybe it will be hybrid tablet :woot: :hmmm: yeah...they would have to do something really different if they have to use 5 GB...

Sachin=GOD Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 @ SG maybe there will be hack or extension for browser :P With windows 8.1 Microsoft has already gone ahead with integration of computer/tablet/mobile so I think pretty soon they will allow apps to run on computer also. So no need for hacks etc...

So no need for hacks etc... Problem is their mobile apps are different from tablet ones And integration is only of Ui but actually devices do not really talk to each other...
Sachin=GOD Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Problem is their mobile apps are different from tablet ones And integration is only of Ui but actually devices do not really talk to each other... With windows OS improving with every update, I expect that to change. Android announced changes in the I/O that make it easier for developers to make apps for both phones and mobile, Microsoft should also do that soon. For now. If apple and android do it then Microsoft will also do it.
