amiret Posted December 8, 2011 Author Posted December 8, 2011 I have already posted most of Law 19.1 in the original post. The BCCI website says Holkar stadium PLaying AREA is 70 yards. While ICC says "The playing area shall be a minimum of 150 yards (137.16 metres) from boundary to boundary square of the pitch" Maybe BCCI has forgotten how to measure the Playing Area of a Stadium. OR The Ground is very small ..almost tiny :--D
carnish Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 it says playing area' date=' meaning total end to end. the word 'area' was probably thrown in my a member who had to repeat 4th grade.[/quote'] i knew what it means just that amiret was trying to act too smart or he really is too dumb or plain stupid maybe and so i said this comment.... and there's really no fixed playing area in cricket as in soccer or hockey so i guess the ICC should regularise it... even if that means certain venues may have to loose out on intl. games
