Blue Panther Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 oh, no. this news broke my heart. and this replacement almost put my in depression. Shami ahmed or abu nechim shoulda been the replacement. Not this midget ****er vk. If vk plays a test match, thats it, i am not watch that test match, that will make me cry for sure.
Trundler27 Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 What i'm excited about is the opportunity to see the slinga ko-maar bowling yorkers and bouncers at perth.... If the guy can intimidate KP with deadly bouncers on indian tracks then he will have ponting and co shaking in their diapers. :nervous:
BERGKAMP Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 320 + posts in a thread within 12 hours, this must be a record for a non match thread.
carnish Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 also Ganesh' date='David johnson etc all had very good Ranji seasons that time...they are not upto International standards came out only after they are tried...what selectors will do for that[/quote'] They can actually watch the match to find out rather than sleeping and just checking the score sheets of ranji games before the selection meeting :finger:
Vilander Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 We will come back to this post. It's probably gonna be 2-1 either way. The Aussies have the weakest batters in a decade, one ordinary keeper, and a bunch of injured bowlers. The Brits were a thousand times superior. You mean ENGsouthafricvoLAND right ? No:hmmm:
Malcolm Merlyn Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 I hope Zaheer is fit for 4 tests and he bowls with Ishant and Yadav. No Vinay Kumar in Australia...........please.......anyone but not Vinay Kumar.
BERGKAMP Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 If anyone out of ZK IS or UY gets injured then next in line should be Ojha (even if it is at perth ), then the trundling twins.
carnish Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 If anyone out of ZK IS or UY gets injured then next in line should be Ojha (even if it is at perth )' date=' then the trundling twins.[/quote'] What makes you think Ashwin won't get injured or fail in time for Perth... if that happens then ojha would already be in and so Ko-maar will have to get in
Laaloo Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Koomar get injured please:pray: Kumar's not really a bad choice especially as a 4th seamer and if he plays instead of Mithun. VK is a much better bowler in tests. Some of you posters in this thread would be wise to differentiate between test match bowling and odi bowling.
WC2011INDIA Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Seriously? Another stress fracture for Aaron. He played only 2 games and got this injury. For a 22 year old, he has already picked up this injury twice. If this continues then I am afraid he won't be playing much for team India. Time for selectors to look for other fast bowlers. We have Nachim. Please give him a try. VK for tests....sigh. He has been doing decent in the ODIs so why not. Our bowling line up for 1st test is most likely going to look like this VK Umesh Ishant Ashwin (I would prefer Pragyan)
WC2011INDIA Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 ^^^ No Zak? Not sure if he is going to be 100% fit.
Laaloo Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Not sure if he is going to be 100% fit. Pretty sure he will play
WC2011INDIA Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Pretty sure he will play and then break down and cause problems for us. I hope he is 100% fit.
Laaloo Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 and then break down and cause problems for us. I hope he is 100% fit. Most likely. But he will play at least the first test, then it will most likely be VK, Ishant, and Yadav and possibly two spinners since we will play in Sydney.
Magneto Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 You mean ENGsouthafricvoLAND right ? No:hmmm: Yeah yeah, that Rest of the World team :--D
Desi Cartman Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Believe it or not Mr koomar is the best available in the country to replace Aaron (who himself wasn't ready for test cricket IMO). So selectors didnt have much choice al though they should have played irfan in the last 2 Odis and then decided upon the replacement.
Texan Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Major jolt for India :(( When is Mithun getting injured. I know it is horrible to hope someone gets injured, but when selections are so ridiculous, I am helpless
