Dravid_TheWall Posted January 4, 2012 Author Posted January 4, 2012 If we do that our batting would become even more of a joke. Yeah that's true, forgot about that. Wonder what UV and Bhajji paji and Sree are thinking about all this.
Ultimate_Game Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Yeah that's true, forgot about that. Wonder what UV and Bhajji paji and Sree are thinking about all this. They are thanking their stars they didn't make the tour.
jhakati Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 again a great spell by ishant this morning, been very unlucky as ian chappell and tom moody have both said on commentary.
Dravid_TheWall Posted January 4, 2012 Author Posted January 4, 2012 They are thanking their stars they didn't make the tour. Agreed. I honestly think that too. It is human nature after all. Oh I forgot to mention Raina :giggle:
Manny_Pacquiao Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 why ??? he bowls really phaaaaaasht??? 153.2 kmph at the MCG bro. thats mad good
jhakati Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 lol yadav is getting hammered and ishant should be dropped?
Cricketics Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Hasn't really bowled that bad. Infact bowled better than Zak today. Out of luck yet agian I must say. India on the whole look defensive in the field. To be honest, the bowling hasn't been that bad compared to the field setting.

Ultimate_Game Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 I am so phucking pissed I want to play a young team with likes of Rahane, Rohit, Kohli, Pujara, Mukund etc. Enough of these stalwarts and their 100 centuries when they can't score a phucking 100 in 6 tests.
CG Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 The problem with ishant is he has developed into more of a stock bowler,Bowling outside offstump up and down, his inswinger has lost its venom and rarely cuts of the pitch.Unless he discovers it ishant will struggle to take wickets. But he is better than v.k and a.m
Tendulkar_Bhai Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Ishant has been bowling amazing short bouncers on the offside at 140-150kph but the Aussie batsman are not reckless like ours and stick their bat out and edge it to slips (*cough* Kohli.). As someone said above he needs to bowl fuller and one of the commentators said "he doesnt know how to take wickets" which sums it up. However he should not be dropped for Vinay/Mithun as they will not do a better job.

Ishant will be an eternal unlucky bowler unless he fixes his length. Short of length looks good on replays but doesn't get too many wkts. You have to pitch it up to get wkts and ishant hasn't learned that even after spending more than 4 yrs in intl cricket. Sad indictment of our planning and management team.
Ravi. Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 He should be dropped asap. He is doing nothing for the team.
vamos_rafa Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 He should be dropped asap. He is doing nothing for the team. By that logic we need to find a new set of 11 players.
BeautifulGame Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 SAchin Laxman Sehwag Gambhir Dravid all should be dropped before we think of dropping any of our bowlers. Its not our fault they have to did dig out our pathetic batting efforts
Ultimate_Game Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 SAchin Laxman Sehwag Gambhir Dravid all should be dropped before we think of dropping any of our bowlers. Its not our fault they have to did dig out our pathetic batting efforts I would keep Sehwag. He scored 67 and 30 in the 1st innings of each test which is the best performance of any opener on either side.
BeautifulGame Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 I would keep Sehwag. He scored 67 and 30 in the 1st innings of each test which is the best performance of any opener on either side. He batted pathetically in Nzl Eng and SA.This is supposed to be the only place away from Sub continent he could shine.Yet despite being dropped again and again in this series he continued to play poor shots. Fact is he is not good enough to be an opener away from sub continent. Its high time he reinvents his test batting and drops down into middle order. Ya i too would keep sehwag if he drops down the order and bats at no.4 in place of Sachin. We should build our test team targetting the away series in NZL SA in 2014.So no point keeping Sehwag as opener.
Lord Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 unlucky?people r still selling that?how long can he be unlucky?apart from WI series in WI,hes been crap for over 3 yrs.is that all bad luck?
Lord Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 why ??? he bowls really phaaaaaasht??? 153.2 kmph at the MCG bro. thats mad good 200 kph off the bat too.really phaassttt,if we point out that hes not getting wickets, thats trundler mentality.shpeed is all that matterzz
Ravi. Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 He gives minimum one boundry ever over. This is not what we expect from our main bowler.
