Also check 1977-78 vs Australia in Australia (Most top Aussies were playing in Kerry Packer series) India lost the first two tests in Brisbane and WACA, Then we won the next two in MCG and SCG, but lost the final Test at Adelaide. So India have done it twice in the 70s. Whether they will do it here or not remains to be seen.
