GrassHoppers Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 No need to panic, everyone knows we're slow starters. There's 2 Tests left, we'll win both of them and draw the series. Be patient!!!

Moncy Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Anyone here is having a deja vu moment? I swear I have seen a thread like this before.
FreakazoiD Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 The challenge is to take the match into the 5th day. That will be a "win" for this team.
FreakazoiD Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Anyone here is having a deja vu moment? I swear I have seen a thread like this before. Don't you worry. After India are bowled out for 75 at Perth and Australia rack up 600/4, we will still have threads like "GG will score 331, SRT 467*, RD 256, VVS 189 and Zak will take 9/34 in the second and we will win".

Be patient!!! Pardon me but that has to be the lamest excuse EVER! Before the slow starters excuse, India's main excuse used to be "We are rusty at the moment"
Needforspeed Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 We did the starting in England Lords Test and we are still starting. Maybe we need a new engine and a new driver.
Sarkar Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Pardon me but that has to be the lamest excuse EVER! Before the slow starters excuse' date=' India's main excuse used to be "We are [i']rusty at the moment" Yes three consecutive test series white wash
Trichromatic Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 It would be great performance if India manages to draw at least 1 test.
adi B Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 heres a little stat for ya all--- india has nevermade a comeback after being 2-0 down

Needforspeed Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 heres a little stat for ya all--- india has nevermade a comeback after being 2-0 down Check 1974-75. India vs W.Indies Series. WI won the first two matches, India won the next two and WI won the deciding match. Also check 1977-78 vs Australia in Australia (Most top Aussies were playing in Kerry Packer series) India lost the first two tests in Brisbane and WACA, Then we won the next two in MCG and SCG, but lost the final Test at Adelaide. So India have done it twice in the 70s. Whether they will do it here or not remains to be seen.

chainsmoker1985 Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 @ OP, for you might be series is not over as yet. But, for most of us, we were only aiming at series win. Leveling the series is not an option for us
