Lord Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 so he feels his place is under no threat what so ever and he can be the one to decide when he goes and not the selectors? this complacent attitude is ingrained in many of the players hence why we have been under performing since the WC. this attitude is the very reason we won the WC n were no.1 in the first place.under Chappell, nobody was sure of his spot.we all know how that worked out?
Lord Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Dhoni hinting at retirement at 30,our 37+ olds are giving no hints:hysterical:
adi B Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Shrewd move. Knows that till 2013 India play only at home. From Dec 2013' date=' they play, SA, Eng, Aus all away.[/quote'] this. kick the fecker out :yay:
BERGKAMP Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Shrewd move. Knows that till 2013 India play only at home. From Dec 2013' date=' they play, SA, Eng, Aus all away.[/quote'] good news if true, he has proved after the world cup he does not have the stomach to go toe to toe with these side and fight till the death in their backyards.
b555 Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 I think he should allow a new Test captain to lead in the SC series.. The Maharathis might also retire after the SC series. Smart move to be honest considering the fact that he gets away from the responsibilities of building a new team.. SC series?
debachat Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Why would I play 5 days for a fraction of the money when i can play fraction of a day for 10 times the money? Incentives drive behavior.... Would he have considered retirement if IPL had not been there?
Singham Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 He is just trying to fool people. Now people will talk abt his retirement , not the test perth test matchB->
jhakati Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Shrewd move. Knows that till 2013 India play only at home. From Dec 2013' date=' they play, SA, Eng, Aus all away.[/quote'] :hysterical::hysterical:
Shunya Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 sad day for Indian Cricket ...if players like him are let gone.. and all oldies are worried about scoring more runs and how to get back into form at this age n all
jhakati Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 sad day for Indian Cricket ...if players like him are let gone.. and all oldies are worried about scoring more runs and how to get back into form at this age n all at least the oldies are not FTBs or gully cricketers like dhoni
Shunya Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 at least the oldies are not FTBs or gully cricketers like dhoni this argument is not about oldies vs Dhoni....dont expect me to fall into this bait... and i will take such gully cricketers any day...who can produce as much as he has...and win us more games...
jhakati Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 this argument is not about oldies vs Dhoni....dont expect me to fall into this bait... and i will take such gully cricketers any day...who can produce as much as he has...and win us more games... that's why he's such a failure playing in SA/AUS/ENG?
THX_1138 Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 I move that we henceforth recognize the current year as 2013. Cant wait for this turd to renounce tests.
Dravid Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Shrewd move. Knows that till 2013 India play only at home. From Dec 2013' date=' they play, SA, Eng, Aus all away.[/quote']
Texy Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 2013 is too far away....MSD needs to give up test captaincy in 2012. No joke. The body language in the team looks pathetic...our tail starts as soon as MSD walks in to bat. That's NOT how you inspire the team. His luck ran out....it's all over. He should focus on T20/ODI and that's where his heart lye...
CG Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Is he really the captain? he seems to be in his own world behind stumps and rest in their own.
The Realist Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 For the love of God, go now. On the verge of 7 consecutive away defeats and most of those have been thrashings - its like getting beaten 5-0 in football every match. Whatever legacy Dhoni thought he had in tests is in tatters. Other captains with much more limted resources do not look as hopeless as this one trick pony.
akshayxyz Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 kaal karey so aaj kar, aaj kare so ab..pal mein pralay hoyegi.... already pralay ho gayi hai boss..
