ganeshran Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 overseas mein to problem hai...india mein to koi bhi opening kar lega. Overseas we could send Mukund or Rahane.
prashsenga Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 That's the sad part' date=' his brisk run scoring is so damn crucial for a good score..I wouldn't write him off..he's a proven game changer going thru a slump..hota hai :winky:[/quote'] for how long.. since jan 25 2008 he has not scored a single century outside teh subcontinent.. four ducks and 3 other scores less than 10. average of 20 for a period of 4 years is pathetic... we were winning and he came up with cameos and in india he scored.. but now that we know he is useless at the top no more point having him open on seaming and swinging tracks.. all time great ??? .... no way with this kind of records.. a Flat track bully for major part of his career.. save a few awesome knocks...:hatsoff:
CSK Fan Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Even though everyone is struggling others at least look like they are trying
urbestfriend Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Sehwag, Dravid and Laxman needs to go after the series...You've been very good performers for India and you've done enough , thank you!
Sooda Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 No Sehwag should bat at 5, Ive been suggesting that for months. Mukund and GG should open
StatsRock Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 I wouldn't write him off..he's a proven game changer going thru a slump..hota hai :winky: Actually he's very much a slumper who occasionally changes a game :cantstop:
amiret Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Intelligent posters like myself said Sehwag has to go over 12 months ago. After his pathetic,Brainless batting in SA. But no....".That is the way he plays !! He is an all time great .....and similar bull-sh!t" This is what we heard from the rest .

Malcolm Merlyn Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 He has been injured far to often in recent times.that needs to sorted out.

Cricket Tragic Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 No, he does not need to be dropped but someone needs to give him a DVD of Trent Bridge 2002. His batting has been very disappointing.
Vijay.Sharma Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Just checked his stats again - the bugger averages 35.63 in Aus, Eng, NZ, WI, and SA - thru out his effing career! One century every 12 innings, damn it! (5 cents in 60 innings)
NareshK Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 The worst part is he is not even trying to stay there and apply himself. He is playing as though he would play on pitches where there is no help for pacers. Irresponsible and brain dead batting. I feel some players in the team have taken their places for granted over the years and havent worked on their mistakes in the past, leading to the situation we have now.
Singham Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 No Sehwag should bat at 5' date=' Ive been suggesting that for months. Mukund and GG should open[/quote'] Mukund..Who?
rabinjackman Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 have patience We have no tours outside the subcontinent for next 2 year. Sirf ek test aur bardash karni hai bass :winky: Then he will be back to his normal wayz

zep1706 Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 He should come down the order. We need an opener who can look ugly and defend the new ball for a session in overseas tests. He was a middle order batsman in the domestic cricket. it should not be a problem for him.
