Viru in last One year has 'Thrown' it away more than the Bowler Buying his wicket. Even in this test series out of his 5 dismissals 4 dismissals were due to the fact he chased wide ones or have hit straight to the fielder. He needs to Re-work on his temperment.

Aus is subcontinent? :woot:
May be yes - as significant part of Aussie continent is inhabited. So effectively matches in OZ are played in some 'subcontinent'

viru is injured and is even more reckless than normal' date='he needs rest.[/quote'] Yes - it does look like he needs good 3-4 months of rest and thorough work on his shoulder. I fear if he plays worldcup with some discomfort in the shoulder, then we will see just few quickfire 30-40s only :((

Its frustrating, youd think hed reign it in a bit when the need of the hour is to see of the new ball and then cash in. 'Oh thats the way he plays' only takes it so far. Wish hed adapt a bit. With all the talk of Smith being Zaks bunny what about Steyn v Sehwag, I wonder...

Yeah even I guess that he has the potential to play well on any pitch, but he isn't clicking outside Asia. In 2006 Barry Richards insulted Sehwag(in the worst form of his life),called him overrated, etc.I just wished that he could prove Richards wrong this time around. But he has disappointed big time.:((

There are so many times when he could have been a bit restrained but he managed to throw it away. Today just adds to that tally. "Playing his nashural game alwayzz" :giggle: He should be showing some restraint - at least wait until Dale and Morne are done, and then hit a few 4s of So-So-be and Harris and then throw your wicket away by playing the nashural game! Sehwag does not need to play like tuk-tuk, but a bit of caution wont hurt!

Sehwag has 3 Tons to his name against Stein. By that Logic even Goddy can be called or could have been called a Bunny of Mcgrath when he was playing.

Paras: "Just noticed that Sehwag has been grossly underperforming since mid 2006 in out of subcontinent matches, averaging 29.... which includes a single test at Adelaide where he scored 151 & 63, without which he averages 22.... Further, half of the innings in this period have been against SAF, against whom he averages 20.. not such a great threat for SA, is he??"

Goddy was Mcgrath's bunny.
