Does the underworld indulge in such stuff nowadays? the 'foot soldiers' maybe.. so noone seems to have had a higher level experience.. getting bullied into selling their land etc.. (kidnapping seems to be right up there..but noone's divulging more on the experience..even if it is sans the specifics)

Everyone here seems to have had such an experience though... half probably trolling half maybe truth

For all their claims of civilized this and civilized that, you will be amazed to know how violent crime is so prevalent in the US.

( paltry sum for most of us I assume) you can get some of these guys to chop-up a persons limbs(another journalist who did a piece on corruption among the cops in the city) without killing him (double the amount and they'd bump him off, police can't do a thing as they have political party backing). The journalists under-cover interviewed(pixel-ing the face of the perpertrators ofcourse) both the victim and the guys who supposedly did it.
