Dravid_TheWall Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 We will not dominate them the way Pakistan did. But we will still win series. Ashwin and Ojha may not be amazing but will be good enough for Eng. Key is if our batsmen can score big still at home.
wobblydoggy Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 world no.1 :hysterical: biggest chokers of all time I hate to say it, but I agree, we choked
jairamesh Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 begrudgingly I say well done to the men in green. England: feck you!, what the feck was that. 145 to win?, on these pattas! jokers.
khanjee Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 the look on eng players face is priceless...lol ...
kabira Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 I can't quite believe this...would we beat England in this manner in India? I am having doubts we would be so clinical. We don't have any bowlers, even spinners tbh. Our traditional batting strengh is on decline but we are very good at home. Good display by Pak spinners. We can be if we choose right venues, we have decent spinner in Ojha and Ashwin. The problem is we will play on complete pattas..
The Outsider Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 The brilliant part was the quick pace at which Rehman and Ajmal bowled in the innings, clearly outlining that there is a thought and plan in their attack and they just go out there and bowl in their comfort zone.
Magneto Posted January 28, 2012 Author Posted January 28, 2012 Thanks Saurav and also thanks guys :hatsoff: Now go on and make it 3-0. Tab aayega mazaa! :--D
jairamesh Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 I agree...I was saying the same thing to one of my indian friend the other day...Before Eng go to India, they will play pakistan, then SL and then India...they might have a better idea about what needs to be done and who should be playing etc...maybe by then they will get rid of morgon or something.. anyway thanks guys..great stuff from our bowlers...gul bowl 3 overs and junaid did not bowl a single over...wow Get rid of Morgan and bring in who? Bopara?:hehe: But it won't matter our bowlers will play Strauss and Pietersen into form, and England won't require any other batsmen's services.
asterix Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Thanks Pakistan for putting these overconfident English in their right place.
India-KXIP fan Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Pakistan was always a good team just match fixing brought them down.
khanjee Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 "Rehman and Ajmal wheeling away, the noise around the bat, the atmosphere in the ground, it was exceptionally difficult to bat, and Bob Willis has just said apart from the current Indian line up at its best, nobody could have lived with that bowling. " from CI and totally agree...they way these guys bowled not sure if anyone but the likes of RD/SRT/Lax would have done any better..
Magneto Posted January 28, 2012 Author Posted January 28, 2012 We can be if we choose right venues' date=' we have decent spinner in Ojha and Ashwin. The problem is we will play on complete pattas..[/quote'] Playing on complete pattas would be safer. On turning tracks, Swann and Monty may bowl us out cheaply. :P

The problem is we will play on complete pattas..[/quote'] Prepare rank turners like Kanpur pitch. Even if they bowl Swann and Panesar plan won't backfire. We can easily play their spinners and Broad/Anderson will be negated by pitch.
Dravid_TheWall Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Playing on complete pattas would be safer. On turning tracks' date=' Swann and Monty may bowl us out cheaply. :P[/quote'] We have played them both well. I don't think they would have as much impact still.
kabira Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Playing on complete pattas would be safer. On turning tracks' date=' Swann and Monty may bowl us out cheaply. :P[/quote'] no, they won't. Even likes of Murali Vijay score runs in India.
Old guy Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Our batsmen are still capable of becoming demi gods at home :cantstop: they werent against nz, bhajji saved them and we collapsed 2 times against west indies.. face the facts bro.. if we dont hcange team we are done at home too!
phaedrus Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 great job, you guys. awesome effort. must feel even more sweet for the fans after all that's transpired in the past couple of years.
