chainsmoker1985
Now Rename the thread as Devangere Rocket. Kooooooomar is our Rocky..Test him for performance enhancing drugs..How is he suddenly hitting the 140s. The Legend of Vorro lives on...... :haha::haha::haha: He bowled around 140 only in one 4 over spell in that T20 and took only 1 wicket. And I told the reason for him touching 140, he didn't masturbate the night before that match. Otherwise, today he was again back to his bowling mid 130s. He didn't hit 140k even once today. Thats what I been saying, he will soon be back to his normal 120s. He is not a natural pacer. Link to comment
VRV Singh
Vinay has had a wonderful start to the LOIs. Not only bowling but he is FIGHTING to the end with the bat. Keep it up champ. Link to comment

ganeshran
Amazing what a million bucks can do ... why didn't he bowl like this at Perth :WTF: That was a test match and perth was the most unsuitable wicket for a bowler of his pace. With his limitations he is better off bowling on slow wickets in tests where there is initially some lateral movement and later he can rely on accuracy to tie the batsmen down. He will never be a big wicket taker but has the potential to be a 3rd seamer if we are going with one. Link to comment
chainsmoker1985
There is no problem admitting that he bowled well and he bowled well actually. He is certainly better than Mithun right now and the way he increased his speed since the T20s is heartening that he understood the importance of a bit more pace in Perth Test and now is running in and bending his back and he still is only 27 not 33. If he can bowl well like this he can certainly play for India. He most often was over 135K today with some movement and was consistent as well while PK was at his normal pace around 125K mostly. But we have better bowlers in Zaheer and Umesh, sitting on the bench. They are also fit and ready to go. VK is certainly not the top 2 bowlers to be picked for India. Here it is a clear cut case of whoever licks the asss of MSD, those will get selected. Not to mention, MSD is also blocking the way for Irfan Pathan due to their personal issues. Wonder, if Irfan was given chance in T20s and then this 1st ODIs, he also might have shown some improvement and he can bat higher as a big hitter. The whole point, VK is continuously getting picked over some better contenders throughout last 1 and a half year. Anyone can get pissed off with that Link to comment

Anyone can get pissed off with that If Irfan would have performed the way VK has done for 3 successive matches (he's been our best bowler in each and every match), people would have wanted him to take over the captaincy. On current performance, he's easily ahead of PK or Irfan. Link to comment

Anyone can get pissed off with that Zaheer is injured and according to me Pathan can only play in place of Jadeja and Vinay right now is bowling better than Pathan. I would like Pathan at 7 and 4 seamers and Rahul Sharma the lone spinner at Perth. Umesh, PK, VK, Pathan, and Rahul Sharma or play extra batsman in place of Pathan and part timers will have to bowl 10 overs then, but Jaddu and Ashiwn are not bowling any better than part timers. MCcricket
VK bowled well per his limitations, but a rookie like STAARC easily outbowled him, when will Dhobi , Cheeka realize , basic ingredient for success is pace, thru out this tour rookies Pattinson, Staarc, outbowled our more experienced bowlers lol, Umesh is the only saving grace. It is time selectors look at talent , potential, not mediocricity or maybe selectors are RET!@#!@#. VK outsmarted Warner, bowled a really tight line and got Ponting easily as well. They are different kinds of bowlers so they'll have different impacts. I would like to see Starc tormenting a bunch of confident in-form batsmen who are used to playing in bouncy pitches. Gambhir has been jumping around the whole series anyway - Starc or no Starc.
