vamos_rafa Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Harris,Morkel are a cloose second Zak I feel
dragonfly Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Best bowler inside of Steyn is Clostridium Difficile.
Tiger80 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Have you been reading my recent threads OP?! Talent wise only one person in Steyn mould. He was made in Kerala but with also added qualities like pet mai aag hai. :hysterical::hysterical:
cameron_black Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 yeah harris for me. if not for injuries would have been a total world beater by now....
kevinpp24 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 I havent seen steyn bowling left handed yet
Sid Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Broad.I have been seriously impressed by him on this tour.
daryl1985 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Ryan Harris and Jimmy Anderson. However, i think Stuart Broad will be up there in the next 18 months.
Sidhoni Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Zaheer, Anderson, Morkel Would love to see Umesh there in the next 2 years
Serani Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 lol at people who actually rate Morkel, has had a terrible south african summer.
daryl1985 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 lol at people who actually rate Morkel' date=' has had a terrible south african summer.[/quote'] On his day he is superb. Stuart Broad has had more terrible series than Morkel but when on song both are seriously good bowlers.
Old guy Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Yep thats true I've seen that from Steyn and to me Steyn's line (middle and leg swinging to outside off) puts him at the top of the list. That line at a good length at 145km/h consistently will get the best batsmen out. However, in the video above, you have to look at the angle Anderson is bowling from. He was a bit wide of the crease and angled it in to leg stump and then swung to hit off. Thats insane late swing. true.. like i said if conditions help anderson is up there cos he can even swing the ball back in at decent pace! both are good bowlers steyn is even good on flat tracks!
chainsmoker1985 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Umesh Yadav. Well I believe World Cricket needs lots of upcoming fast bowlers as most of the legendary fast bowlers are retired except 2 or 3, Zaheer, Steyn and to some extent James Anderson, are remaining. Harris, not for me. The bowler who remains injured in 5 out of 10 games, is not a quality fast bowler for me. I also believe, Ishant and Mitchell Johnson, if they can sort out their action and rhythm problems and try to get back their confidence and form, may be in 1-2 years, they will be deadly. They both have extreme talent.
cybervickey Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 at this point its between: Zaheer, broad and anderson .I'd Pick ZAK coz' I am biased like that :D
chainsmoker1985 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Surprisingly Paki fast bowlers are lacking behind in these discussions
Serani Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Ravi Rampaul has also improved dramatically, in the top 5 world wide for me!
