BERGKAMP Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 f**k cricket in time like these, hope he makes a full recovery for his and his familys sake.
biltz Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Sad to hear that, saw couple of his ad about involving insurance and jaab tak balla. felt bad, May he recover soon. Ameen
Blue-no1 Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 As a medical researcher, I knew he was in trouble when he skipped Australia ODI's after announcing he was fit. As soon as he was in US I had written here that it was serious and expected it. He is in Boston and most probably at Dana Farber Inst. If what is written is true that it is between heart and lungs (in the cavity) it is not one of the common known variety and as the report says it is rare. It does not mean it is more dangerous than others. Since it is only stage 1, he will be OK for now, but if the tumor will return back/metastasize will depend on the aggresiveness/dividing capacity of the tumor. One good thing- stage 1 means it has not spread to even nearby lymph nodes. Given the fact that he has had it for a long period of about 10 months, we should hope and pray, it has not spread thru the other route-via blood. Good luck Yuvi
ravishingravi Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Very sad news indeed. He is a tough boy. He will beat this and be in test team.
Stuge Posted February 5, 2012 Author Posted February 5, 2012 It'll be really sad if he doesn't play for India ever again. Was such a key player for India in last decade. Hope he fights it out and comes back again! it will be selfish to even think that way . I would rather want him cured first .
daryl1985 Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Sad news :((. Best of luck with your recovery Yuvi.

Karan114 Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 That's truly awful news, and that too for someone who is just 30 :(( But at least it has been identified in stage one. I wish him a full recovery,
Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 I hope he recovers completely, God willing. One of the most exciting ODI and T20 players around in recent times. Best of luck to him.
Bradman99 Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 :( Was just about to ask what happened to him... So sad, hope to see him back on the cricket field. You guys miss him.
