maniac Posted February 16, 2012 Author Posted February 16, 2012 I would say Judo is one of the most important forms of fighting in an actual street fight....more often gets overlooked for it's more glamorous counter-parts. Most policemen and women are trained in Judo,Most MMA fighters too.....I would say knowledge of Judo and wrestling(Not the WWE kind) are probably the 2 most possible fight-forms that one might use in a street fight

A movie like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon had a decent story, very good production value and good acting (for a long time I thought chinki people just cant act at all). Karate kid 3, with Jackie Chan had a good story, a brilliant screenplay, great acting (one of Chan's best) and very good production value. It's like sci-fi and super hero movies. Earlier there was nothing more than some typical sci-fi wonders. Now we have movies like The Matrix, Dark Knight, K-pax, Batman begins, Inception - all movies with depth in story, great performances, plenty of quality drama, great characterizations, good production value, high class CGI - and it has totally changed sci-fi movies are look at these days. People even criticized Avatar which had some superb graphics and animation. Why can't the same happen to martial art genre films? Why can't such films have a soul alongside some damn good action?

DomainK Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 ^ Akki is the only one in Bollywood with some decent martial arts skills. He can make some moves look really cool. Others like Ajay Devgan and Suneil Shetty have been very average. Now with harnesses, CG and some cool editing, even Salman Khan pulls off good fight scenes. But back in the old days when there was no CG and no harness, nobody could pull off the kicks that Akki could.
