I felt it was crap too, then i used one for a week.. those big ultrapixels are quite awesome.. it has a bigger aperture, and takes in muuuuch more light. Plus optical image stabilization, which is a huge deal!

HTC one does better in low light because of OIS used with ultrapixel. Let me give you comparison and you decide yourself. Actually, this ultrapixel camera has been the biggest let down for HTC one. What im saying is.. day to day pictures, which u take and upload on facebook/twitter, its a much better proposition. 4 mp resolution isnt bad.. easier to upload but still sharp. And for me, most of the pictures I take are when im out at night, etc. I work in the daytime.. so for regular usage, I feel the ultrapixel camera is a better bet. If you want to get technical and look at the specifications, ok the galaxy would win, but then you'd rather get a SLR of you want something like that.

HTC camera is great specially when ur outside in restaurant or malls it does so much better ...galaxy s4 does better in ideal light like sun light or well lit rooms and u can zoom in more .. One more thing to consider is speed of taking photos ..I have a dog and I like taking pictures but he is always moving on most phones there is a blur but HTC one takes photo quickly and captures moments even when dog is jumping :p Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4
