tbh hussey was out, every batsmen from now on run in the line of the throw nd then stop the ball from hitting him by using his hands, that means the batsman is watching behind, so that means he is not confident of completing the run, so now every batsman will do that even considering he was far from the crease nd the reason would be i was saving my **** from getting blunt.... so what i mean is basically- a batsman will run through the line of throw, he knows he is short so he tries to palm out the ball by looking back nd reasons out, he was being hit, thats fooking sh1t, noway thats a reason, he should be out

Tendulkar run out in caontrast with David Hussey Nout Out One is given not out even though he has clearly obstructed the field. It was clean as a whistle that he was trying to stop the ball - the ball would have crossed him before and it would not have hit him. The umpires discuss, ask if India want to withdraw - which India refused, call for the third umpire and in the end made sure it was given NOT OUT even though the law says its OUT. Only a few hours later, a player clearly blocks the way for the batsman to get a run out his way. It was clear that he wasn't following the ball or trying to grasp it, he just wanted to come in the way of the batsman so that he could run him out. The umpire come together, discuss something and declares him OUT. No discussion with the opposition whether they want to withdraw the appeal, and no calling for the third umpire. Why ? You would argue that the bowler can block the way and the batsman could block the throw if he wants, the rule say so, and hence the decision was right, where the **** was the rule book when David Hussey clearly obstructed the field and got away with it? ICC and their rules are disputable. So from now, we wont be too far from seeing, batsman being held, pushed just to get the wicket and its all within the rules.

And don't tell me that Tendulkar wouldn't have made it, because he was there even after running around Lee, and he would have comfortably made his ground had he not been obstructed.

And don't tell me that Tendulkar wouldn't have made it' date=' because he was there even after running around Lee, and he would have comfortably made his ground had he not been obstructed.[/quote'] He would have made it easily. He slowed down considerably with Lee blocking his way, couldn't stretch himself and had to run around Lee.

Ponka would say Tendulkar should have simply got stuck into Lee and blown his ass apart then if Tendulkar had claimed obstruction it would have been taken seriously and his case would have been stronger.

why have rules in the game if you are not going to enforce it....this spirit of the game was OK in the old days' date=' not in this age of competitive cricket!!![/quote'] +1

sachin should have used his brain....there was too much space at left hand side of lee to complete run.
 He was heading straight, deviation either way would have made him run slow and change his route.
