okay here's another point and strange co-incidence.

In Feb 2006, Taufel gave Inzimam out obstructing the field. Now why did Taufel gave him out then and Today he didn't give Hussey out? Again point of Asian and Non-Asian bias can be made here. Also strange conincidence, on both occasions i.e Inzimam's obstruction and Dave Hussey's obstruction, thrower of the ball was raina lol and umpire was Simon Tauffel lol.

My question to Taufel will be why did he gave that Inzi decision on field and this time he went to the 3rd umpire.Did the aussie in him woke up today?

even tho i think hussy wasn't at fault there but yes I agree he should have been given out...this is the intl sport we are talking about, where no matter what if you make mistakes, you pay the price...it doesn't matter if he did intentionally or not..he should have been given out.. In SRT case, i think neither lee nor srt was at fault..just SRT bad luck

now tell me why a bowler bowling over the wicket, stops in his follow through, crosses the width of the pitch, when the ball is going to the point fielder. he obviously can't get to the ball nor is he going towards the stumps to collect the throw. beats me!!

Lee might've tried to field himself but gave up once he crossed the pitch and saw another fielder coming in. It was a bad judgement of run. Simple. Given the form and luck Sachin has now, he would've found any other weird way to get out. He shouldn't be playing any more ODIs. It's over for him.

And India wonders why is cant get out of this slump they are in, because all they do is sit and complain instead of focussing on their own game and improving it... Look at when Australia were robbed of the Ashes by the caught behind at Edgbaston, did we sit and cry about it? Nope, just shrugged it off and went on to win the next series 4-0. Shame India dont have the same spirit :P

Tendulkar run-out was a non-issue, Tendulkar's fault for poor call and not being aware. Though the Hussey incident is just pure pussy-footing from the umpires. This is where Australia's hard-ball play approach philosophy turns into more pakistanesque cheating. And this is not the first time Aussies have got away with blatant cheating, in the past their no.1 status often covered it up as playing tough cricket. But I think most cricket followers know Australia, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka belong in their own league when it comes to practicing unfair sportsmanship.

I can't really say if Hussey done that deliberately but the difference in his and inzi's case is, the rulebook say "the batsmen is allowed to block the throw if he feel its gonna injure him but only with his hand not bat". I'm not sure whether i put it exactly. W

Dhoni at the post-match press conference was unsparing on Lee, saying the Australian pacer had no business to stand on way of Tendulkar. "I don't think that you can justify that Lee was going towards the point fielder. I don't think he had real business to go over there and to decide to stand just in front of Tendulkar. That means he (Tendulkar) will have to take a longer way across. That is my reading of that particular run out," Dhoni said. "Tendulkar was disappointed that he was given out despite the bowler (Lee) standing on his way," he added. It was unjustified for Tendulkar because he had to take an extra yard to run. I think Billy (Bowden) should have said something because he was in a better position to see where exactly the bowler was and where he stopped. It was really difficult for Simon Taufel to take a call because he would not know which angle the batsman was running and where Lee actually stopped," Dhoni said. "I think David was really lucky not being given out. He (David) thought he was protecting his face but his hand was too far ahead. I don't know why he was not given out. We were at receiving end of both umpires," said Dhoni. "In soccer if your hand was popping out, you would be given a penalty irrespective of what has happened. That's plain and simple. If you look at that incident, David was out," he added.

Well it does help when umpires "interpret" rules and come out with "spirit of cricket" to benefit a certain team and that team's not India. You can't win if the umps have decided that you shouldn't :dontknow:

Taufel was not in a good position.

Nice guys finish last. Straight up BS. Tendulkar deserved to get fkd over though. Lee definitely did him over, what the hell was he doing stranding there? But hopefully Tendulkar learnt a lesson here - FK the spirit of cricket, it doesn't win you matches. He wanted to be a smartarse and get Thira..... decision overturned. He opened his mouth and got Bell recalled, so know see how others play the game. Hussey should've been out as well, gotta blame the pathetic elite panel of umpires who are absolutely useless and incompetent. I don't know why ICC bother creating these rules if there is nobody in place to uphold them

Manjrekar is such a ****-licker ***** of Aussies and English. Even Tayler said its clear out.
Add shastri and harsha to that list....these idiots are linking the critism of these decisions with result of the match, thats besides the point.
