GautiMaan Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Okay,i honestly cannot recall a series that caused this level of anxiety for indian fans. First we had Ashwin and the rockstar flaunting their batting skills and rescuing us.Then came the Dhoni-marathon.The stunning chase and the Aus-Lanka match went a notch higher. PHEW! And to think that it was all in vain
Stuge Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 World cup was the pinnacle of Blood pressure series .
GautiMaan Posted March 2, 2012 Author Posted March 2, 2012 World cup was the pinnacle of Blood pressure series . Yea but we won the damn thing and didnt have to fret over neutral matches. This was agony:((
Tendulkar_Bhai Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Im not sure where your anxiety came from, we had 1 close match against SL where the pressure was on otherwise were pretty bad, and today i guess was abit anxious, however with all the losses we have had a few odi games doesnt really mean much.
NareshK Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 This is just another ODI series. The World Cup was something else and I'm pretty sure I'll never be as nervous for another cricket match in my life as I was during the India Vs Pak Semi Final.
cowboysfan Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 It still gets to me when we dont do well, this whole series has been so depressing.

Dhoni 6? Also, the SL 320 game. I don't think these were raising BP levels but were sure exciting.
DomainK Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 The entire tour was tough to handle. But **** happens. Lets hope we have good days ahead.
Params7 Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 This odi series didn't mean much to me after the test performance anyways.
CG Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 The entire tour was tough to handle. But **** happens. Lets hope we have good days ahead. Same was said in eng.
Stuge Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 The cricket after world cup 2011 was tough to handle. But **** happens. Lets hope we have good days ahead. fixed :winky:
Stuge Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Yea but we won the damn thing and didnt have to fret over neutral matches. This was agony:(( you should be ready for 18th march then .
FairCricket Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 best cb series so far , and one of the best tri-series
Stuge Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 best cb series so far ' date=' and one of the best tri-series[/quote'] hmm your comment has nothing to do with op's question :O
Swing_n_Speed Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Anxious? Naa. I was fairly well entertained throughout the CB series, with India's last game being the pinnacle. Regret that India didn't make it to the finals, but all in all I had an ok time watching a few of the games. The timings though did suck. Because all the matches where I am would end by 4pm I never had the chance to sit back in my leather couch and watch the games with a few mates and good beer!
adi B Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 i am a big fan of fast aggressive bowling, last time india won the cb series bcoz of young fast bowlers, genuinely quick who constantly took 10 wickets in almost every game, but this time, 4 trundlers(zak included) nd only genuine quick was yadav, u can noway win series in australia with such g@@ndoo bowlers..... very disappointed watching the indians bowl, +the captaincy nd selection by dhoni was piss poor unlike 2008

It's sad to see the state of our bowling resources today, when compared to 3-4 yrs ago. Not one of those bowlers has matured into a strike bowler and we have to endure the likes of vk as a 'fast' bowler....
