Tendulkar ton coming up

No joke! Remember when Tendulkar was out of form in tests and then he scored back to back hundreds I think v Bang in tests? It was a very slow and out of character 100, but a ton nevertheless. I see one coming up now! They all count boys and girls :cantstop:

Tendulkar speaks: "It's been a tough phase for me. I started off the season batting reasonably well, i was luckless. I was not thinking about the milestone, the media started all this, where ever I went, the restaurant, room service, everyone was talking about the 100th hundred. Nobody talked about my 99 hundreds. It was slightly different, the ball was not coming onto the bat. It hasn't sunk in but I've definitely lost about 50 kilos. Doesn't matter how many hundreds you've scored, you still have to put your head down and score for the team. Dreams do come true. I had to wait for one for 22 years (the World Cup)."
He can lie in public too ! :hmmm: ..what is so bad in admitting ...

poor commies' date=' poor opposition, poor tournament.. but thats the way it goes.[/quote'] Well considering what our team has went through since the world cup, it was fitting that he got it against a low key position.

You can't really blame Sachin for the kind of innings he played. Anyone who is out of form will try to grind it out and take time. And we've always seen Sachin getting nervous near milestones so it was not his first. In a way it was good that he finally made sure he got through with it because it was really taking toll on him and the team.

It's really good what he did for himself, it will benefit Indian cricket for next few years or as long as he plays. He did this when he had a test drought for awhile, he scored a slow test 100 v Bangladesh off 200 odd balls which was full of nurdling :cantstop:
