the_indian_fan Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 with 7 of them in losses and 1 in a tied match also, some fanatics might talk of 33 of tendulkars 49 100s coming in wins, but those stats are inflated with 9 of them against teams like zimbabwe, kenya & namibia. take them out and that comes down to only 24 of tendulkars 40 100s coming in wins the fact is - when tendulkar hits a 100, he gets there so slowly and usually kills the chances of the team winning. since 2004, he has done that 8 times in his last 13 odi 100s 100s from any decent batsmen help the team to win, but in case of tendulkar, they become the reasons for indias loss
Number Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 This is idiotic. No one can blame him for 175 against Australia and those 2 hundreds in world cup.
Hell Raiser Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Now this is taking it too far. He wasn't responsible for all those loses.
Sidhoni Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 This is idiotic. No one can blame him for 175 against Australia and those 2 hundreds in world cup. What about yesterdays 100?
Raghav_12 Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 What about yesterdays 100? It was Dhoni's mistake who can not marshal his bowling resources.
Number Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 What about yesterdays 100? He was wrong while intentionally slowing down and deserves criticism for that.
Adi_91 Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Dubious record for a great player. But can we really blame for all those losses? Yesterday fine, may be he batted a lot slower than he normally would. But what about his other other 100s?
Crookbond Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 It was Dhoni's mistake who can not marshal his bowling resources. Surely, just for yesterday's game Tendulkar's slow batting must take part (not all) of the blame. All the rest statistics in the first post are meaningless, IMHO.
pensionplan Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 It was Dhoni's mistake who can not marshal his bowling resources.Says the guy with a Tendulkar avatar. Easy giveaway.
OutStumped Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 This is idiotic. No one can blame him for 175 against Australia and those 2 hundreds in world cup. Or the one vs West Indies. http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/256607.html
Laaloo Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 :yay: Time to celebrate Jeene ke hazaar din ... ooo ooo ooh ooh baaki hai bekaar din TCYqhKmn_h0&feature=player_embedded
Crookbond Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Or the one vs West Indies. http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/256607.html This is one of "the" best Tendulkar tons which never gets mentioned. The D/L method (and of course the great bowling) may have screwed up things for us. The pitch was not the easiest to bat on. During the first game it was merely the odd ball that had seamed extra, but here it was quite decidedly two paced. More than once the ball scooted along on the ground after pitching and more worryingly, one or two took off from a length, hitting the splice of the bat or the gloves hard. Dravid was able to master the variable bounce, cutting out the horizontal shots after an initial cut shot when the ball was new and hard. Tendulkar went for his strokes, especially when there was a bit of width on offer but found that it was not always easy to get hold of the ball as the bounce was not true. http://www.espncricinfo.com/dlfcup/content/story/259533.html
jonas10 Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 It was Dhoni's mistake who can not marshal his bowling resources. You say that like thats the only reason. There were collective failures. Dhoni's captaincy, crap bowlers and YESSSS Tendulkar being selfish as hell. I can admit India has crap bowlers that contributed to the loss why cant you Tendulkar die hards admit he played a substantial role as well?
velu Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 It was Dhoni's mistake who can not marshal his bowling resources. but majority of the credit for losing the game goes to sachin :giggle::giggle:
King Tendulkar Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 Another hate thread against SRT. Wow this campaign of hate really is in full flow

Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 So either India royally sucked in the last decade or Sachin has raised the bar of selfishness to a new level. Your pick :winky:
SachDan Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 Says the guy with a Tendulkar avatar. Easy giveaway. says the guy with the coolest username here.
