achilles Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Dear England, You said Ireland wasn't ready for being default entrants in the World Cup. Up Your Azz. Sincerely, The Irish.
Crookbond Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Stirling whirlwind takes Ireland to title Ireland 156 for 5 (Stirling 79, Wilson 32) beat Afghanistan 152 for 7 (Shahzad 77, O'Brien 2-18) by five wickets http://www.espncricinfo.com/world-twenty20-qualifier-2012/content/story/558630.html
jairamesh Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Massive innings from Sterling. Think both Sterling and Kev O'Brien are good enough to play in the IPL.
Crookbond Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Massive innings from Sterling. Think both Sterling and Kev O'Brien are good enough to play in the IPL. Stirling = Ireland Batsman Sterling = Currency :D
Pak_Forever Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 It's such a pathetic move by ICC/BC*I/money hungry board to not to let more minnow teams participating in World T20. It's an ideal platform to grow the game in other countries and actually make those teams competitive in the long run....remember Netherland in England T20? How on earth would other countries/potential fans will even take this game seriously if their teams barely ever get a chance to represent in big tournaments. Bunch of phools!

adi B Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 had bangladesh been in this tounie, they would not have qualified
Stuge Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Ireland in our group:nervous: Mar gaye .They will be tough team to beat .Should be a good match against them.
hari504504 Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 watched the Ireland innings. Stirling is a level above what these guys are playing. He can easily play ODIs for england and make a devastating opener. Has all the shots in the book including the 6 over third man..he played that as good as Tendulkar/Sehwag usually do.
