Indian High Court moved for cancelling India-Sri Lanka cricket matches

Madurai, Mar 21 (PTI) A PIL has been filed in the Madras High Court's bench here seeking cancellation of India-Sri Lanka cricket matches until the disputes between Tamils and Sinhalese are settled and total peace prevails in the Bay of Bengal. In his petition, S Calvin Christopher, an advocate, alleged that whenever the Lankan cricket team was defeated by India, whether it was in the World Cup in April last year or later, there was backlash from that country's navalmen on innocent fishermen from Tamil Nadu. He claimed that after India defeated Sri Lanka in the recent triangular cricket series in Australia, petrol bombs were hurled at Indian fishermen. Greetings ICF, Its my first post here. Hello to all Indian Cricket Fans. I totally support this move to cancel India-sri lanka cricket matches. I don't understand why our cricket board needs to bankroll those ungrateful spiteful vindictive people. Let them go to pakistan and China and beg them for cricket matches.
