India-KXIP fan Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 I've seen strong supporters of Sreesanth on ICF. These comments for instance by a certain poster "He can walk into any team of any era. He is just that talented." So my question to ICF should he be in the Indian Test sqaud? please vote. Just wanted to get a sample of what the majority think. Sreesanth current Test stats: Tests played: 27 (over 5 years in international cricket) Test bowling average: 37.59 Strike rate: 62.2 Need at least 50 votes for a good idea.
Dravid_TheWall Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 We already have a thread on this in Kerala Express Watch read. It has been discussed at length for last few months. Please merge thread mods.
India-KXIP fan Posted March 21, 2012 Author Posted March 21, 2012 ^No need to merge. Unfortunately that thread does not have a poll. I wanted people to vote on the question Should Santh be in Indian test squad?
Dravid_TheWall Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 ^ Pointless thread as has been discussed to death lol, all the opinions are in that thread.
India-KXIP fan Posted March 21, 2012 Author Posted March 21, 2012 ^ Pointless thread as has been discussed to death lol' date=' all the opinions are in that thread.[/quote'] fantastic brah. so surely it has a poll right? cause i want to count votes not read opinions...
Dravid_TheWall Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 fantastic brah. so surely it has a poll right? cause i want to count votes not read opinions... No it doesn't have a poll. What you will find if you read the thread is a lot of people actually don't want Sree in the test team because he didn't justify his talent and questioned his committment. His talent is never in doubt, many legends like Donald have said his skills are exceptional. Only fools question his skills. So in OP you talk about his talent, but talent and inclusion in test team are two different things, so bit of a condradiction there. I remain a believer that his talent will pay off and that he has been a victim of management. On top of this he will STILL our best seamer behind only Zak despite not even achieving a fraction of his talent. Goodnight.
Laaloo Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Both Sreesanth and Ishant should be kept away from the team as far as possible till they improve their ways. Someone like Ishant has age and fitness on his side. Can't say the same for the dancing donkey though.
msb1991 Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Sreesanth has never performed consistently for Kerala. There has not been a single bowler who performed consistently for country and not for domestic team, especially one who plays at such a low level. End of, imo.
punjabi_khota Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Sreesanth can be in the test team following a brain transplant, and couple of liposuctions.
India-KXIP fan Posted March 22, 2012 Author Posted March 22, 2012 From a neutral point of view I have observed not many people are voting at all, perhaps they do not care about Sree after his recent failures? Majority of comments suggest Sree is out of favour with fans as well. I guess they do have a point seeing Sree is almost 30 and yet to prove himself at International and domestic level...
Zero_Unit Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 haven't seen him in action for a while but when he's on song he can rip through any batting
Tendulkar_Bhai Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 When on song any player can Sreesanth has had good spells but thats it, he is not international quality and doubt selectors will pick him again
India-KXIP fan Posted March 22, 2012 Author Posted March 22, 2012 When on song any player can Sreesanth has had good spells but thats it, he is not international quality and doubt selectors will pick him again From a neutral point of view and looking at the topic realistically I think you have a good point. We may not see Sree in whites for India again...
Tiger80 Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 After watching the condition of Indian pace attack we can try him again, after all Indian pace attack don't have much to loose
kabira Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 I actually loved his bowling and always thought he was someone special..But after England series, I have lost faith in him. The guy is suppose to be our senior most bowler and he does not have consistency. I am afraid he turned out to be another Agarkar.
