Against India, they managed 8 rpo, Tamim and Saqib were gone, it was Naseer Hussain and Rahim finishing hte job. Even against SL, 3 wickets down, they showed composure for the first time and managed to get to the target easily..

ZodiaC Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Yes I guess - their bowlers are bowling far better lines and lengths (especially fast bowlers except Shahadat) and batsmen are really going for a win each time. Granted it's Shakib, Tamim and Nasir most times - but Mahmudullah and Mushfiq did also finish off in two games. Good for them I guess.
adi B Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 its a myth, main reason why bangbros played well is bcoz shakib nd tamim hammered the bowlers nd it was bcoz there was no genuine, good left arm pacer playing for any team...had india played nehra or zak or pak had played jacket or junaid, these 2 batsmen would have got out in the starting of their innings

Howzzzzzzzzzzat? in one season nothing will change.. so i doubt they are playing well cos of bpl its just that shakib is showing what he can actually do (he is reallly good allrounder ) then they found that new batsman..(forgot his name )pretty sure he was in team even before bpl most of times imho these tournaments will destroy cricket more then helping it we ve already lost many players to injury then there is people's attitude to just concentrate on t20's it was good fun but as we are now seeing its pretty boring
Texy Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 They look lot more comfortable chasing a required run rate of 8 and above....BPL definitely helped. They would crumble under pressure before if RRR went above 6 and look at them now.
