Where on earth do you see the arrogance, in fact he came across as quite humble, particularly during the Marathi part. Attention seeker

He was nowhere to be seen to face any press conference when India were being white washed and now suddenly a press conference, so much for not caring for milestones. How unselfish it was for younger players like Ashwin and Yadav, etc. to face those press conference.

You guys really like to nit pick everything. Captain cool himself didn't want to face the music, so he or team management sent Ashwin/Yadav.

Whats new about what Sachin has said? He has always maintained that he will continue to play as long as he is enjoying the game. And I am sure, he will stop enjoying the game once he starts performing badly. Quote from the above article

Asked about the prospects of him playing the 2015 World Cup to be held in Australia and New Zealand, Tendulkar refused to be drawn into any predictions but clearly did not rule out playing in the tournament
He doesn't say he will play the 2015 World Cup. He just doesn't rule it out.

But he did perform badly in England and Australia in Tests as well as ODIs, but he blamed luck for all that.

The entire team performed badly in England and Australia Test Series. Though Tendulkar was below his own high standards, in both the series, he was the second highest run-getter for India. England Series - Rahul Dravid - 461 runs, (avg -76.83) 2nd highest - Sachin Tendulkar - 273 runs, (avg-34.12) Australia Test Series - Kohli 300 runs (avg -37.50) 2nd highese - Tendulkar 287 runs (avg-35.87) In the context of the team performance he was not a failure in either of the series. Agreeed that he failed in the ODI series in Australia (Did not play ODI series in England)

After watching the press conference, though he sounded humble, he seems to have lost interest on team's performance and what matters to him is his own performance. It can happen to anybody , but its sad that Sachin has nothing to day about the team loss in England and Australia, it looks he is least bothered about the loss and only cares about his own form.

If everyone does that, the team will be a good one. It's the captain's (and other team management's) prerogative to make sure the team does well. Individual players need to execute their skills. Yes, one can help others but first and foremost look after yourself.
