"Yes, Sachin Tendulkar has gone to London for consultation about his toe injury. He has been playing with this injury for long. It is not sure when he will return as even a surgery may be needed to correct it," an Indian CricketBoard source said. This is unfortunately true. TV revenues may not take that big a hit, but Stadium revenues take a huge hit. MI's first home game last season was against Kochi Tuskers and I attended that game. First game played at the Wankhede after the WC final. The stadium was jam packed. The only IPL game where I think Wankhede would be at a 90% capacity. People were only chanting 'Sachin Sachin' irrespective of where he was. The chant was the same when he was batting, in the dug out, fielding and even in the locker room. He scored a 100 in that game. The home average for last season was ~75% capacity, which was the highest among all the IPL sides. SRT definitely is the main crowd puller for MI.
