audioman Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Surprised no one has mentioned Aravinda De Silva yet. If anyone made an absolute mockery of Anil Kumble, it was him. Made Kumble look like a net bowler on most occasions. But Lara has gotta be the best player of spin bowling in the entire history of the game. Ganguly, I think, is overrated player of spin. He was a very aggressive players against slow bowling, but did not have the proper technique to back it up with good defense. Michael Clarke is also a good shout. Andy Flower was another effective player against spin.

He must have been pretty good as Saqlain was a brilliant spinner in his pomp.
