That isn't me. I don't know who else would have a name of that but the one on cricketweb certainly is not me.

^^^ The standard in county cricket is appalling, real low grade stuff. And some of those players listed are absolute garbage - Adil Rashid really? And Eng suck in ODIs, always have, always will. Seriously stop polluting the site with your rose-tinted rubbish.
County cricket, along with Australia FC cricket are the best domestic leagues in the world. Well, you think they are rubbish? Overton brothers, Topley and Roland-Jones absolutely obliterated everyone in the U19 world cup. You could say the standard was poor, but they were the standout performers of their age group. We suck at ODI's? We're number one. Whether justifed or not remains to be seen but we're the best ODI side in the world according to the rankings. http://www.espncricinfo.com/rankings/content/current/page/211271.html I'm polluting the site? How so. So its okay to be biased for India, like 95% people here but not for your own country? Idiots like you are not even worth replying to to be perfectly frank.

Yeah the same system which produced legends like Ealham,Irani,Hollioke bros,Matthew Maynard,Yardy etc.. Outside of Imports, the only half decent player with a proven record you have produced in the last few years is Flintoff who is regarded as a legend lol. The other legend Vaughan has a test average of 41 and a :hysterical: ODI average of 27...

this regulator guy seems to be suffering from some kind of split personality disorder. here is one of his first posts on ICF, titled 'England are overhyped'

They are so damn crap, their first choice XI has been skittled out for 270 vs our reserve team bowlers I can't wait to see how the likes of Gul, Junaid, Riaz and Ajmal are going to tear them apart to absolute shreds. And their pacers have done nothing against our resreves and the ICC associates! 3-0. http://indiancricketfans.com/showthread.php?t=276857
'ours' as in pakistan. so this guy started off looking like a paki **** that thought england were overhyped, now he claims to be an ingerlunder that thinks ingerlund are good. or maybe...he is one of those bradford bruvs the kind that comes from a family of packis and lives on the dole in ol' blighty brap brap brap...either way, he seems to be a fkn weirdo

Apart from the fact that 90% of the current England team has been created by CC. To say anything other than the fact that that CC is one of the best domestic leagues in the world is utterly delusional. Why is it when a player has a fault in a technique, fans and coaches usually say "Player X require a stint in county cricket" not, "Player X needs a stint in the Ranji Trophy".

Realistically I did troll as a Pakistani fan when I first got here, mainly because I thought some of the opinions here were really far out of it. But yeah, I'm past that now and I am genuinely an England fan lol. Mods can IP check me if you have your doubts. I've been living and working in London ever since I graduated.

Ok now before we go further in a tangent...I probably should have asked you this before as to what exactly you are implying. I will go ahead and admit that Country cricket in England is very much self-sufficient and there is a lot of money there but how does that equate to producing top talent or being of top-notch quality? That brings to the 2nd point....they may not say Player X needs a stint in Ranji Trophy but they definetely say Player X needs a stint in the IPL....we all know the only rationale behind that is money but playing in the IPL is taken as a good exposure to sub-continent conditions.....If Ranji Trophy had the kind of money County Cricket generates then why not?

That's quite relative to which team people are referring to. On this forum you will find many people saying that Player X needs a stint in county because in general Indian players are not used to playing in those conditions and for their game to develop better such a stint would be helpful. Getting into an Australian FC side for a fringe player is pretty much impossible and though there have been a few instances of fringe Indian players in South Africa domestic, it's not practical because the schedule clashes with the Indian domestic schedule. Ranji Trophy does not allow foreign players, but England have sent their A team to play in the Duleep Trophy in the past and even now their development squad is playing matches in India. It's about giving exposure to different conditions and pitches during development stages of players and should be encouraged to produce better cricketers. Tier I of County cricket is pretty good though, but Tier II is complete trash. Same is the case with Ranji - the top 6-8 teams of Ranji are pretty decent compared to other FC teams except Australia who are on a different level.

hasnt Ishant got fever?also Dinda might be prefereed being from Kolkata wont make much of a difference.personally,I would still play Bhajji
Going by their bowling after the Test on the 4th day at Wankhede, Dinda is presently bowling faster than Ishant :--D Ishant will get selected anyway. Anyone knows which Indian has the record of being carried as the waterboy for the maximum number of matches before making his Test debut? Rahane might be creating that record the moment he debuts in Tests. Also Rahane can't be sent back to the Ranji setup because he becomes the automatic fielding replacement the moment Pujara gets hit.

Has to be Yuvraj Singh. Think he was included in the test 15 for the first time in 2002 and made his debut only in late 2003.

Rahane was included in late 2011 and has been a waterboy for the WI, Aus, NZ and the Eng series. Don't see him getting into the team before 2014. He must be pretty close to the record by now.

I don't think Tiwary is a specialist short-leg fielder. The other two options for a replacement fielder are Dinda and Ishant' date=' and their fielding is not really top class.[/quote'] i dont htink there is any specialist short leg fielder in india if ur junior and no body u stand there :P
