Actually England don't do anything to engineer pitches to favour their bowlers. Edgebaston, Oval, Lords, Headingly are as flat as anything. It's just there's usually alot of cloudcover meaning Broad/Anderson/Bresnan can swing it a mile.
Yea - how about cricket balls?

Beware the mistake of saying "O it will be a draw based on day 1" You here it all the time in India matches from all and sundry. Day 1 and 2 runs are flowing and straight away everyone saying it will be draw it s just too flat etc etc So many times it changes and the match can change in a session and then victroy and a result is gained in day 5. In fact this happens all over world but always for some reason in India all are quick to mistakenly say it will be a draw. By the way this is brand new pitch laid with less clay content so it does not hold as good together.

In India' date=' Time of the innings is inversely proportional to the Day of the Test match. In England, Australia, South Africa it is the other way round.[/quote'] :two_thumbs_up:
