Total 10 home tests- Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Chennai, Delhi, Kanpur and Mohali Could have played the t20s at smaller venues like Cuttack, instead of hosting them at places like Chennai and Mumbai.
Cricket Tragic Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 ****ing morons. They removed 1 test and added 2 useless Tontee Tontee matches. Bastards.
saneindian Posted April 2, 2012 Author Posted April 2, 2012 ****ing morons. They removed 1 test and added 2 useless Tontee Tontee matches. Bastards. T20 WC a month later, so maybe that could be of some use. In any case, that NZ tour was in a limbo and there were chances BCCI could scrap that. Happy to see even 2 tests vs them. The real problem is scrapping of tests from the Lanka tour. Could have been useful for the youngsters.
rkt.india Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 3 tests would have been better against NZ rather than 2 T20s. We will also need an army of fast bowlers for these 10 tests, dont think one set of bowlers will be able to survive this whole season. Selectors will be at test here.
The Outsider Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Is this the first time we will see test matches in August in India? Come to think of it, can't really remember anything in September either.
Cricket Tragic Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 They already took out the 3 tests vs SL and now another test. :banghead:
rkt.india Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Is this the first time we will see test matches in August in India? Come to think of it' date=' can't really remember anything in September either.[/quote'] Probably may not even complete. Rainy season.
OutStumped Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Probably may not even complete. Rainy season. High chances of both the tests being rained out. Bangalore in August/September - Rain for sure!

Laaloo Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Just realized that in between the NZ and the England series will be the champions league :banghead: Any progress we make in the NZ series will be gone in the CL and then we will have to start again in the England series.
Desi Cartman Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Just realized that in between the NZ and the England series will be the champions league :banghead: Any progress we make in the NZ series will be gone in the CL and then we will have to start again in the England series. kabira Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 BCCI should build roof at few stadium, that way they can start season in June itself instead of August
