deathmonger Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Has done well in the FC matches he has played too. Delhi is becoming a hub for class batsmen.
speed_demon Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 India have won this match by 7 wickets (3/198 vs Australia's 9/194). That means India are the 2012 International Quad Series champions. Over 42.4: Buchanan to Chand, SIX, short of a length, he picks it up and knocks it over the rope at deep midwicket.
rkt.india Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Unmukt Chand took us to win single-handedly in both knockout matches.
ShebbySB Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 WE're the champs:bhangra: Unmukt has finished the match with a six & scored 112* of 127 balls with 9 fours & 6 sixes.Well done to Sandip harma who has taken 4 wkts.Congrats the whole team.
speed_demon Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Congratulations to the team, it's a team effort even though chand did most of the work, let's not forget he was supported well by others. I,m really happy with the bowling, in alien conditions they kept improving in every match to keep restricting the other teams fr manageable scores.
Cricket Tragic Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Will be funny if we win the tournament having lost all the league matches. :giggle: :yay::yay::yay:
rkt.india Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Has anyone seen Chand bat? Only in IPL last year where he was cleaned by Malinga yorker, but today he played Patrick Cummins well.
deathmonger Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Only in IPL last year where he was cleaned by Malinga yorker' date=' but today he played Patrick Cummins well.[/quote'] That was one innings. But today he seems to have smoked Cummins who's a good bowler. Will he play IPL now that tournament is over?
saneindian Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 What a win by the youngsters. Congrats and very well done. Now they have won a quadrangular series both in India and Australia and have to be firm favorites for the WC. Great to see Unmukt lead from the front and carrying the team home in both the semifinal and final.
Chandan Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Even I feel this is a good team' date=' if they overcome this match and win the series it'll surprise the English media who were already surprised at India being in the finals.[/quote'] Can you put up few links covering this series, even if they are about other teams? I'm sure there must be some mention of Indians somewhere as well.
Ultimate_Game Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Unmukt Chand is a special talent. He has been earmarked as a future prospect for quite some time now. He looks another Kohli in the making :two_thumbs_up:
Crookbond Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 What kind of a tournament format is this? India U19 didn't even win a single league match but qualified to the finals. Now, they win it. Epic KLPD! :hehe:
panther Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 impressive thing about indian young batsman is there ability to convert starts into 100s.
