Pakistan is not really poor at chasing. They are just very inconsistent. Potential wise Pakistan can chase down any total and even Umar Gul can wallop up some huge sixes at times. Looking at the way Pakistan is batting, Pakistan would wind this up with 2 or more overs to spare.

Its a negative approach. They should have sent Gambhir and Kohli to open. Its always unsure with a lower order batsman opening the innings. He will play slog shots sooner rather than later or waste balls.

Now go to ODIs and tests, kohli can scores centuries, now do you expect someone like bhajji to score centuries? No. Because its not very easy to play with the same momentum for a long period of time. In ODIs and Tests, you need to keep your wicket and play for a long period of time. Also, you talk about bowlers. You say T20 brings the best out of bowlers. Well they do to an extent. But this is one format in which your ability to swing the ball and bowling at a good length doesnt really count much.
