It's not about trust, but about doing the right thing. Yes Yuvi is "fit" (though not match fit) and feeling better but you don't take a player's word as gospel coz the player is doing everything in his power to make it to the team and is probably not the best judge to make an objective statement about himself. That is why you have selectors in the first place. Plus Chand can't make it as he wasn't in the 30 man preliminary squad.

Not denying Jadeja was awful in both T20 world cups but out batsmen getting bounced out embarrasingly wasnt the main reason for both exits

Irfan is there for that.

Irfan is a seam all rounder and most likely will play in the team as a bowler with 7 other batsmen .. In case Yuvi is injured Dhoni would certainly want to have another spin all rounder for lankan conditions who can fill the top 7 spot and the first name that will enter his and cheeka's minds is jadeja.
