I am going to keep my expectation real low. Even on those A tours they didn't score any huge 100s.. they scored 70 or 80 that's it.

now we all have to agree these are just FTB`s ..they just smash weak bowlers on cheppauk or eden tracks, when they have to face quality bowling on bouncy tracks, they surrender, nd over that they give their wickets cheaply, playing expansive shots.. no price on the wicket, even the new paki boys showed better temperament nd approach against england....these guys are noway test class, they are just bashers in the ipl... i hope i am wrong , but the way they play dont give much of hope

most of the indian batsman out there are world class or having the potential to be a worldclass one thing they need to develop is the composure for these stiff situation

that is debatable. It is not just composure they lack..some of them are found wanting technically as well.

they poke outside off stump too much, play poor strokes, throw away their wickets, ipl mode is still on

we should look at this as a learnin curve for our batsman n a gud exposure for our bowlers rather hoping for a flat track

If they are good enough they will come back strongly. But i have seen all these guys bat before. They all have some weaknesses to overcome. We definitely don't see an Azharuddin, Dravid, Laxman or even Ganguly there among this line up. Their transformation period from domestic to international was low. Above all Dravid, Ganguly started their career in foreign conditions still came out with flying colors.

These players have to replace players who were some of the most consistent players India has ever had Dravid - 52.31 (avg) VVS - 45.31 A lot of players have talent but to be a great Test players they need composure and most importantly patience. Pujara has the best temperament to be a Test player and hopefully he will take his chance when given (natural successor to Dravid ), Rohit is the most talented but he needs to build the temperament of a Test player he's still taking unnecessary chances when theirs simply no need for it (natural successor to Laxman hopefully soon)

Pujara has knack of piling up big scores in first class. Hope he doesn't take too much time to do the same at the international level. Rohit is always a shot away from brainfart. They lack one thing or the other.
